Ella was momentarily frozen as his luscious lips grazed hers lightly and lingered; then he began to move, slowly, sensually and erotically, filling her senses as liquid fire simmered in her veins.
Dylan teased her lips apart; a gasp barely audible was muffled by the bold thrust of his tongue. Ella welcomed the passionate possession by wrapping her arms around his neck.
Her reaction to him was just like he remembered: passionate and bold. The fire between them was like a raging inferno begging to be quenched.
She was like a drug, so addicting he didn’t think he could get enough. The temptation of making love to her across his office desk was so great he felt himself hardening.

How did he know that her father was going to be taken apart by the loan sharks? This was the first question that popped into Ella’s head after she came home later that night to find her father gone and her mother sniffling. Did Dylan take her father so she’d have no choice but to give in to him? She knew he was his mother’s son but she’d never expected him to go that far. She took out her phone and dialled his number. ‘’Did you do this?’’ she demanded hotly her hands fisted furiously at her side. They were standing in front of the café. ‘’Do what?’’ ‘’Did you have my father taken so you can prove y
‘’What?’’ Ella snapped when Lani elbowed her arm rather hard. ‘’He’s here,’’ she whispered, her voice coming out a bit squeaky. The strength with which Ella spun around could’ve caused her her neck. In an instant, she felt her stomach muscles knotted. Dylan looked incredibly breath-taking as he stood there all lean and business-like; his hair was disheveled giving him that bedroom look. The cleft of his chin was prominent, the mouth underneath his sculptured nose was sensual. Ella bit her lower lip and gulped, she’d seen the taut muscles beneath that posh business suit. Going up again, she met those de
She was grateful. He didn’t have to take what she thought into account but he did. ‘’There’s no need to be appalled.’’ He said carelessly. ‘’The only thing you’re going to be doing is stand beside me whenever the need arises, smile and nod, say hello and a yes or no will do.’’ ‘’God you make me sound like a sorry star in some stupid puppet show!’’ ‘’That’s the intention.’’ Dylan nodded in amusement. ‘’Are you kidding me? Who would want to live a life as boring as that?’’ Ella threw up her arms drama
Before Ella was even ready to go, a black, elegant limo was waiting for her. She rolled her eyes but smiled all the same. The chauffeur, a man in his mid-thirties elegantly clad in black suit pulled open the door for her. ‘’Good evening ma’am. Jonathan at your service.’’ ‘’Nice to meet you Jonathan, I’m Ella Garcia.’’ She offered with a smile and after she was settled in the ride began. Ella smoothed invisible creases on her dress. The dress was a velvet coloured tank top style going past her knees slightly and revealing nothing much which Ella’s glad for. She had been surprised
A small gasp escaped her lips before she could stop it. Skyline restaurant was very classy, obviously made for the crème de la crème.There were round tables for two covered with yellow flowery linens and customers ate from elegant china wares; and that was just the first part. As they made their way up the stairs, Ella saw the second part with in-built cushions and love seats. They walked down an empty hallway until they came to the elevator. When the elevator slid open and Jonathan stepped in, Ella stood back tilting her head to one side in confusion. ‘’Um, excuse me,’’ Jonathan’s brown eyes snapped towards her. ‘’Wh
‘’Stop the car.’’ Ella ordered squinting out of the window of the limo as they passed by the park, a wry smile made its way up her face. It’s been ages since she’d seen him and if he’s here, it would mean that something unpleasant has happened again. Ella grimaced. ‘’But ma’am Mr. Vergara gave specific instructions.’’ Jonathan choked out. ‘’Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.’’ She waved him off still looking out of the window. ‘’But ma’am…’’
Ella groaned quietly, her eyelids fluttered and she squinted at the streak of light streaming through the lace curtains, bathing the room in warm gold. She was too lazy to open her eyes or get out of bed. She squeezed her eyes shut and caressed the pillow all the while dreaming that she was on a water bed–soft, cosy, and floaty. Ella smiled and drew in a satisfied breath relishing in the scent of fresh roses and water from the ocean. She cracked open half-lids to inspect the other side of the bed for Kristina as they always slept side by side. Not completely trusting her eyes in situations like this she reached out and felt with her hand. But Kristina wasn't there and
Dylan pinched the bridge of his nose and breathed calmly. Ella looked away guiltily. He was right, she had been reckless and there would’ve been no explanation the media would be interested in hearing other than the fact that she had proven to be the gutter snipe they presumed her to be. ‘’I’m sorry I over stepped, it won’t happen again.’’Dylan groaned taking her hand in his, ‘’I know how hard this must be on you, I should’ve been more thoughtful.’’ He traced lazy circles behind her hand and gave her a reassuring smile. ‘’Why did you bring me here instead of taking me home?’’ Ella asked after a moment’s silence.
CHAPTER FIVEA Year Ago...Claire was two hours earlier than she'd hoped to be but no matter, she'd just wait it out. She adjusted the strap of her shoulder bag just as the lift opened at the second floor."Claire you're late." Charity's tone was reproving but Claire rolled her eyes and ignored her."Please, i'm two hours early." Charity was her friend and room mate."And why are you hanging out here? Shouldn't you be working?"Charity pointedly ignored her but then her eyes lit up suddenly and that meant she's got mischief up her sleeve."No I don't wanna hear it.""Come on, I've got this awesome dress I would like you to try on.""Try it on yourself.""I wish." His feelings were so intense it ignited a fire deep within her very soul. "I feel the same way about you as I did when I first met you and there's nothing you can say or do that'll make me feel otherwise." Claire swallowed hard and in one breath said, "even though I was once an escort?"Dimitri shook his head. "No one is perfect darling, your past doesn't define the woman yo

CHAPTER SIX "Why didn't you tell us about it?"Dominic looked away from the window of his water front apartment to his mother, she was holding a brown envelope."I don't want to talk about it. " she was holding the envelope that confirmed his biggest fears, he couldn’t have children of his own.It was a boating accident seven years ago and Dominic was never the same ever since."Your father and I are worried about you. At least come spend some time with us and let us keep you company. " "I'm fine mom, there's nothing to worry about. " She wasn't convinced though. He had bags under his eyes as if he hadn’t been sleeping and there were a couple of empty cans of beer littered on the table. Dominic was stubborn and nothing either of them could do to make him change his mind. These past three weeks were the most miserable weeks of his life. Clara's betrayal had cut deep. There were times in these past three weeks that he'd thought of running to her and
CHAPTER FIVE"You look even more beautiful than I did on my wedding day." Anastasia Magnus gushed as she did the finishing touches on Clara's make up.Clara smiled. "Now you're just buttering me up.""Dominic is doing enough of that already." Anastasia wagged her brows at her friend." I didn't think this day would ever come." "Yeah, well it is here so put that glum look away. You will not get the same drama as my wedding day. " "I know. I'm just being silly. Am glad you're here Ana.""It is time!" Clara's mother ambled into the room with a dazzling smile on her face. "You're glowing my dear.""Thank you mom." her mother allowed herself a good cry before they finally left the room.Clara was being escorted to the limo which will take her to the church where she'll be getting married when a taxi suddenly pulled over in front of the Contas' house and none other than Mark, her ex boyfriend came out of it."You have cheated me Clara.
CHAPTER FOURThe past few days had been hectic, what with all the preparations for the wedding that they didn't have time to see each other. Today was her first ultrasound and Dominic was coming to pick her up himself. She saw his car round the corner which led to his parents' house and stopped in front of her. He got out of the car and came to where she was standing and kissed her full on the mouth. "You look lovely. " "In this?" Clara was wearing one of her mother’s old dresses which she'd mended the other day. It was old and unappealing, how could he possibly think that she looked anything but a homeless person."You look beautiful in anything."He opened the car door for her and she got in before hopped in the driver’s seat. "Make yourself comfortable, the doctor will be with you shortly." the nurse informed them before exiting the room."Do you want a boy or a girl?" Clara asked.Dominic kissed her knuckles as
CHAPTER THREE"Dominic! we were just talking about you" his mother cried as soon they stepped into the room. "Mom, dad, this is Clara Wilson... my wife. " The table went silent and the only sound heard was the clatter of fork slipping from the table to the ground. "Since when?" his dad asked."My dear son, come up stairs will you?" his mother spoke after a long silence. Clara felt so exposed under their scrutiny. "Why don't you make yourself comfortable, i'll be right back." Dominic gave her hand a reassuring squeeze."What is this I hear about you being married to that girl Dominic?"His mother was the first to demand."I hope you know what you’re doing son." his father said."I know that I should've told you all sooner but I couldn't wait.""Marriage is not some game you can play anytime you feel like it." His mother said."There's only one reason why he could possibly want to get married, and so out o
