Her breath came out in short strained pants, her nails dug into the plush material of the outdoor sofa; she was ready to explode any moment and it didn’t make it any better that Dylan was wearing an enigmatic mask, his face inscrutable as he studied her through hooded lashes.
‘’With the way you’re staring at me, you look like you could bore a hole right through me.’’ He said in an amused tone.
‘’Don’t get too cocky because I just might do that.’’ She gritted between clenched teeth.
