Chapter Sixty-two

Ella watched the water from the Seine flow languidly, shimmering under the glow of the moon. There were not many stars and the sky looked like a giant black blanket; gloomy just like her heart.

Jonathan had driven her out here without a word as if sensing her need to be alone, but she knew that by now he would've called Dylan already to inform him, the ever loyal P.A that he was. It felt so good watching the Seine and the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower from the Pont des Arts other wise known as the lovers’ bridge, where lovers come from around the world to swear eternal love to each other, a promise that would later be locked in the love locks that were smattered on the bridge, it sounded so appealing but absurd at least to her.

I'm so pathetic, she sniffed.

She couldn't tell her feelings from the other which seemed to make her life complicated. She used to hate Dylan so much but somehow that special feeling had slowly made a spot for itself
