"Do I really need to be at this dinner, I mean I hardly even know what is happening. And things seem to happening so fast, one minute we are having a party and the next it's this." October sighed.

"Yes, this way you can be informed on what is happening." Alistair responded.

"But--"

Alistair shook his head cutting her off.

"I have to go; the guests have arrived."

"Who are even these people?"

"You'll see when you get there."

"Can't we just pretend that I'm there?"

Alistair gave October a look before cupping her cheek, and giving her a quick kiss. She tried to deepen it but he pulled away with a chuckle.

"When you are done getting ready, please come down to the dining room?"

October simple nodded, then watched as he left. She dragged herself to the bathroom, not really interested in meeting anyone but seeing that she is forced she will go. The only good part about was that she didn't have to dress up.
