"Shouldn't we be training with them too?" October looked up at Alistair, they were sitting under a tree after they had finished planting the crystals.

He shook his head. "We don't need it."

"Cocky, I like your confidence vampire, or is it cowardice?" Horatio asked.

"I am far from cocky, dog." Alistair hissed.

"A coward then," Horatio smirked.

Gore chuckled.

Alistair gave him a look before a growl escaped his lips.

"I'm not afraid of you bloodsucker, I'll be happy to take you on any day. Even now." Gore growled.

Alistair removed his helmet to hiss at Horatio.

There was a lot of back and forth between the males, with their mates trying to calm them down.

October's eyes flashed when she heard the words Johan spoke, which seemed as if she didn't mean to say it out loud.

"Joking," she said, holding her hands up.

"Go easy on them," October gave Alistair a quick kiss on the lips.

He winked at her. "Only because you asked."
