As the two people sat in the dark, in the forest, overlooking the parking lot where they could see Kit’s car on the other side. As they waited for the taxi arrive and after they stop talking and just sat there and watched the car for the time being. Off in the distance she heard the slight click that she had heard before, it was something that no person who would ever been to a war-torn country would ever forget. Instinctively she not only moved quick but she grabbed him and pulled him down to the ground as well. It was just then after they had reached the ground which in total had probably been only about 20 seconds from the time that she had heard the click and it had registered in her brain. Matthew who was also going on instinct by keeping her away from the car and realized that some
In the dark, the three men sat in the dark colored car just beyond the emergency vehicles that had erupted onto the scene. They arrived shortly before the first police officer had made his way to the view of the empty parking lot with a burning car that had just exploded. The damage was done by the car was something to be in awe of. They were slightly surprised at the extent that the small homemade bomb had actually caused. It was only supposed to be a little car fire as the car was running. Just enough to scare the young woman who was at the center of all of the officials. The man who was dressed all in black in the front seat behind the driver side was really trying to figure out exactly what had happened; this wasn’t part of the plan the bomb was supposed to be small. The extent of the damage was just too much and why was the car pulled over to the side. He had been working with small explosives for over 20 years; the military had taught him well he knew how to make a bomb, and also
As she sat in the back of Nathan’s car that was being driven by his driver, all she could do to hold on to her sanity was to rest her head against Matthew’s shoulder. The sight of that actually seemed to drive Henry and Nathan both somewhat insane. Matthew took it in stride the only reason why she was reaching out to him like that was that he was the one that was there. It’s not like she actually had feelings for him, it’s just that he was familiar at that point. They still hadn’t quite decided where exactly they were going to place her, but Nathan had made some phone calls for a quick short-term lease of a house a couple of towns over. Unfortunately, it was the middle of the night so he wouldn’t be able to get anything done until the next day. They figured at least for the night that she would be safe with them in the hotel. She had nodded in agreement when they came up with the idea to completely buy out the floor if it wasn’t already rented out. At least just to keep the security of
The car arrived at the hotel shortly after she closed her eyes begin to rest comfortably. She was escorted inside to the waiting area while Nathan tried to arrange the room and also possible extra security for their floor. Unfortunately, as he soon found out the hotel in its entirety had already been sold out, and there was no extra room for her. Now the choice was up to her to pick which of the three that she was going to be spending the night in their place. Nathan and Henry already knew exactly who she was going to pick so did Matthew as he was wearing his typical smirk that could only be described as somewhat Viper-ish. As they entered the elevator to go to the top floor where the three penthouse suites were they already knew exactly where she was going to end up it wasn’t even a que
She watched the other her board the ship that had been in the pier in the old Japanese city, she had figured that much out at least she wondered if it was actually Kyoto or some other major city of the time she couldn’t exactly get a place in what time. It was only that it was centuries before. The men that she had watched as she walked with her head held high towards the ship they must have been Lords of some sort as they all gathered to see her off. As the other her, she fought the tears that showed that she did not want to be boarding the ship at all but had to because it was a diplomatic mission that she would go to a different island and act as a diplomat for the area that this encomp
The pair of them in the dark still huddled on the couch covered up with a blanket. He hadn’t even realized that he had drifted off the TV was still on it was now later and some new station was on broadcasting and showing pictures of her car and saying it was an isolated incident. That there had been no major fatalities. He was coming aware that she was awake too, and she was staring at him. Without even thinking he was rubbing her back in a slow circular motion. He was waiting to find out if she had figured out her dream. He was also waiting to find out which dream she had actually had. He didn’t have to wait very long.
When Kit finally woke up her first thought was, “where am I?” However, as soon as she heard the soft sound of Matthew breathing behind her, she remembered exactly where she was. She was about ready to try and stand and move to the outside of the bed however she couldn’t move Matthew’s arm was clenching her. The gentle pressure of his dead weighted arm holding her close to him was enough just to keep her there. It was a feeling that she didn’t know very well waking up next to somebody else, she and thought to herself that it wasn’t the worst feeling in the world to know that somebody wanted you that close when you’re vulnerable. Even though it was well past the time that she would typically wake up and start to get ready for work she knew that she wasn&
When the two walked down the hall fifty feet to Nathan’s room, the door opened automatically it was almost as they had been waiting for them to appear. Nathan for once was the one who opened the door, and he looked at the pair with virtually a disapproving look. He glared at Matthew who shrugged his shoulders and walked in. Nathan stared at her for a few minutes as he then motioned for her to enter as well. She did and the layout of the room was pretty much the same just flipped from Matthew’s. On the table, there was a spread of food laid out that seems to have some of everything. As he motioned for the food to be eaten Nathan took his seat at the head of the table. “Well, it looks like you got some rest at least.” He stated as he looked over the two that had just join
“Yeah I know are. She’s completely safe. She doesn’t work for you, and she isn’t affiliated with the military. She’s my sister.” She said as she was slightly confused and looking so at her sister as she walked in the room and whistled.“Nice place you got here. So, sis, this is who you’re holed up with? Where’d you find these guys not that I wouldn’t mind having to be locked in a room with them but seriously where did you find them?” Jenny asked as she moved forward and saw Henry and Matthew sitting there both with open expressions

Six months later…….She stood at the large window at the back of the house overlooking the backyard with the inground swimming pool she hadn’t noticed the first few times she had been here. It was so somewhat surreal the events that led to them acquiring this house. As the boxes were now almost entirely gone from the move that she had to do over the last two months, she was happy to see the final result of at least putting their belongings together and merging their lives even more. Matthew was in the backyard at his grill with all of his friends surrounding him. He had confide
After everyone had packed, they just were sitting around waiting for the news of what was going to happen. She figured that they would call before they took out the teams to execute the arrest warrants. She knew that they were going to be bringing in the SWAT teams just because of the fact these were experts with weapons. That was where the breakdown of communication happened; she thought that she would have an advanced warning of when everything was going down. It wasn’t until she had received a phone call much later than she had anticipated that she knew the entire story. The regular polic
His friend at the police force had given them a heads up that for new arrest warrants have been processed relatively quickly, as his friend had stated it was the fastest he had ever seen an arrest warrant come through, and he immediately knew that the warrants were for him and his accomplices. It was finally going to be over, either she had figured it out, or they had, and at least at this time no one was necessary to be hurt. When the police came to his house he wasn’t sure exactly how it was going to be, he had no plan only regrets. He couldn’t make peace with himself on any level, so the idea of the police showing up without him being able to do anything was just another thing to add to his torment. He wasn’t going to call the others and warn them. If they had sources with
After a full night sleep, the pair woke up tangled together to begin their day. Neither of the two wanted to get up out of the bed which was more surprisingly comfortable than either had anticipated. As they prepared for the day, Matthew received a phone call from Nathan stating that they were going to meet at the hotel, to figure out precisely what the next move was. She had already planned out what was going to happen that day in her mind, and it required the help of the few detectives that she knew. As they changed their clothes and made their appearance that they could actually be seen by other people and not feel bad, they decided they would just eat at the hotel and not bother since all they had was popcorn in the house. They hopped in Matthews SUV and started their trek ba
After unloading all of Henry’s furniture and trying to fit the TVs and everyone’s car which proved to be the most exciting and most laborious task that they had accomplished in the past few hours. Everyone went to their respective new houses and started to put everything together the way that they wanted. Kit and Matthew started to put everything away in the kitchen that Henry had bought, as soon as they were done with that particular task they moved on to placing the couch and quickly taking the TV out of the box and placing it on a small entertainment center that had been just left in the middle of the room. After the two moved everything against the wall along with the TV, they had hooked up all the wires which had proved to be humorous for her watching him crawl around on the f
Jenny was surprised when there was a knock at her front door. She wasn’t expecting anyone and the people that would just drop by were already there. Yonathon was the first to almost jump at the door with Kevin not far behind. Sebastian was the only person who remained utterly calm because of the unexpected visitor it wasn’t something that they had ever really had to deal with. Most people stayed away from them; the fact that Jenny wasn’t afraid of them just proved their point that she was who she was without saying. As Jenny got up to go open the door, she looked to the people and was surprised at who was on the other side. She motioned for Kevin to come stand closely behind her as she opened the door because she had an awful feeling about what was going to happen. Just knowi
Henry arrived about an hour after they had placed the order for room service which was about ten minutes before it actually showed up he was extremely excited about all the things that he had managed to buy and have loaded into the truck they knew that they were going to have an excellent time rearranging the stuff and putting it in each house. None of them were afraid of getting their hands dirty it was that just the idea of moving furniture into three different homes with not a prospect that they had looked forward to. They knew if they wanted they could call some of the other guys for help, but they figured that they would best handle it on their own. They started to formulate the plan as they were eating that they would go to the house that Matthew and Kit would share first so she could pi
When Nathan arrived back at the hotel, he had quite a few messages waiting for him that he had to answer before going to find the pair in Matthew’s room. It had been at least a half an hour at that time when he was finally able to. He did not knock as he used the extra key and he had and walked into something that was a fantastic sight. It was actually anything beyond what he had thought possible to do in a hotel room, and he did have some experience with doing some unusual things in hotel rooms. The surprise on his face when he walked in was almost unbelievable and something that Matthew had personally never seen before. She was directing Ian and Miguel with Micah also holding up poster boards with yarn that have been strung throughout the entire room. His confusion was showing on his f
