Suzy was so furious that she spoke without thinking, snapping back, "You were the one who didn't want me to call you Mr. Park back then!"

This response was exactly what Liam had hoped for.

"What was our relationship back then, and what is it now?"

Liam sat there, looking all businesslike, as if she was the unreasonable one!

"Miss Chase, we're discussing work. If you have any personal matters to discuss, I can wait for you after work."

"I have no personal matters to discuss with you!" Suzy's eyes widened as she ground her teeth. "Since the decision has been made, HR could have just informed me of the transfer. Why call me to the CEO's office alone? This creates misunderstandings, Mr. Park."

She emphasized the last two words heavily.

Liam remained unperturbed, merely smiling slightly, "What’s there to misunderstand?”
