Chapter 389: Handsome Men Are Often Jerks

Clive was stunned by Arthur's words.

Was he really talking to a little kid?

"You intercepted a number?" he asked in disbelief.

"Yes! Waiting for you guys to rescue me was taking too long," Arthur replied calmly. He spoke without any hint of boasting about his intelligence as if he were just discussing the weather.

Clive stared at him, utterly amazed. It was as if he was seeing the world in a whole new light.

"Then give me the number."

Arthur glanced at him and suddenly shook his head. "I can't just give it to you. You couldn't even find me; I had to escape on my own!"

Clive was speechless.

"We can make a deal," Arthur said, squinting as he smiled. He looked exactly like a miniature version of Liam, except Liam rarely smiled. "Can I use your work computer?"

Clive didn't understand what Arthur wanted to do, but seeing how capable the boy was, he knew he needed to be careful.

"My computer has a lot of important stuff on it. It's not something you can just play around with," Clive explaine
