Suzy was startled, sobering up quite a bit.

She had been so caught up in her sadness that she forgot she was in Northorn City, where she could run into people who knew her.

"I came here for some business. I'm leaving tomorrow.”

Ryan's voice grew louder. "I'm not asking when you're leaving. Who was the man you went into the hotel with?"

Suzy furrowed her delicate brows. She didn't need to explain herself to him, but she didn't have the time to argue either, so she said, "I drank too much. A friend's cousin was just helping me back to the hotel."

"Really?"

"Why would I lie to you? You're my boss, and I'm on vacation."

Ryan was at a loss for words. "I'm just concerned about you! Don't trouble your friend's cousin. I have a friend in Northorn City. I'll ask her to look after you. She's a woman, so it'll be more convenient."
