Darren, on the other hand, just stood quietly beside her. There was a playful glint in his eyes as he looked at her affectionately.

It was evident that he supported her.

With her arms crossed in front of her chest, she scanned her surroundings and lifted her chin slightly.

"Didn't you ask for my opinion? Well, let me make it clear today. I don't think there's anything wrong with what Mr. Winchester did. Moreover, I think he did a great job."

How could she possibly blame him instead of feeling touched when he was just standing up for her? Did Catherine really take her for a fool?

Her slender fingers playfully lifted Darren's chin. A seemingly flirtatious action when done by others, seemed rather bold when it was done by her.

She placed a gentle kiss on his lips. Her cold tone turned gentle. "I think it makes him even more attractive and sexy. It makes me fall deeper in love with him every day."
