Diana became flustered in an instant.

"Well, it seems like your only source of information is Cedric. May I ask," Hannah said coldly, smirking scornfully at Diana, "If you ever bothered to verify what he said, Ms. Sorsby?"

Diana lowered her gaze, remaining silent.

"I already know what vile things he's going to say without having to ask." Sitting upright, Hannah scoffed and continued, "Ms. Sorsby, you're a sensible one. Are you really going to be blinded by love like this?"

"What do you mean?" Diana's expression hardened as she snapped, "Ms. Emerson, I'm here for business, and the last thing I want is to have you criticize my boyfriend."
