“This brings it to seven Alphas that have gone missing,” Faris briefed me. “The Alpha King has asked that you handle the investigation and if you do not find them, the blame will be on you. What do we do? Is it the job of the Alpha Prince to find missing people? That is the job of enforcers!”

“It is an arduous task.” I read through the profiles of the Alphas that had gone missing. “These men will never be found.”

“What – how – what do you mean?” Faris’ eyes bulged. “Do you have a hand in this?” He exclaimed.

It was now that I was the hand in this than anything else. Only seven had disappeared so far. Not enough to throw my mother into a panic but enough for her to notice something was wrong. Did she suspect me? It did not matter since there would never be proof that I was involved.
