Chapter 125

KOA’S POV

I got a tip-off that Randal was in danger. That, coupled with the fact that there was a secession plot at play made me anxious.

‘Are you worried about Randal?’ Anakin asked. ‘He may be your brother but he is still a strange child. Will it not be good for you if he died?’

‘Shut up.’

Randal was indeed a weird child. As a child of the Luna Queen, I did not believe that he was altogether good. How could he be good when his parents were both evil? There was no side that could have given him any redeeming qualities and he was a child that was no different from a stalker. There were days when I would think an assassin had broken into my home but it would turn out to be that rat quietly observing me. I used to think he was doing it for his mother, acting as one of her spies but it occurred to me later on that the rat was obsessed with me in a way that made my skin crawl.
