CHAPTER 106

Trish is at another table, talking to some of the guards.

She notices me and smiles before waving. A moment later she heads over to our table, plopping down beside Lily.

"Morning sleepy heads. Finally decided to grace us with your presence?" She asks sarcastically. Her smirk says she knows something is up. "What kept you two so late?"

I roll my eyes. "Connor and I didn't want to get out of bed."

Trish nods, but doesn't stop smirking. So maybe we made out a little bit. Okay, a lot of it, but it was just making out this morning.

"Did you two get a chance to look through those books?" Lily asks us as she digs into her plate of food, which Desmond got her.

"No, we stayed up talking about the Senate. By the time we realized it was night time, it was too late." I lie smoothly. Connor sets a plate in front of me, then sits to eat his own.

Ilook between our plates and notice a lot of meat on his, and not a lot on mine. I snitch three pieces of bacon from him, and all he does is smile at me
