The friends observed Marco a little suspiciously and asked him what he was up to; they noticed that something was not right because one of them proposed to stay in the garden all night to talk about trivial things; however, Marco refused the idea.

-It's nothing, well, actually I'm worried about a case I'm having a hard time solving at the law firm. -He lied, for he would not say that he had summoned the young cook there.

-Forget about work. We are here to relax. -They insist.

-We'd better rest tonight, tomorrow we'll do some activities and then we'll have fun. -With that said, he got up and went to his room. After that, everyone left until the garden was empty.

-It's a good thing I managed to throw them off the scent. -He boasted, celebrating his victory.

At the agreed time he went out to the garden, but the girl never appeared, the minutes were running like a gazelle, but there was no trace of her.

-Ah, I should have guessed that you are a stubborn little girl and would not come. -He
