“We need to contact the other packs, try to demolish whatever movement Dominic has begun,” Maxwell says. “Viktor, you are known to have joined the dead alphas in their ambush, you can tell them what actually happened. And while at it, we will show our support for the coalition.”

“Will it be enough?” I ask.

“We have our own reputations, thankfully, respected and revered. Some of the packs will join us on account of our words, some might not. Some would want to stay on the fence. But for now, it will be enough to put a stalemate to whatever crap he is pulling.”
