“Good evening”. I smile at them. Xavier stood up and pulled out my seat for me.

“Thank you”. I told him as I took my seat.

“Anything for you. By the way I love what you did with your hair”. Xavier replied as he also told his seat. We said grace and then started to eat. All through the time, we eat in silence with none of us making an attempt to talk.

It was not until we were done eating that we started having a conversation. We shared with each other our today’s activities. It is so nice to be able to have someone to talk to like this.
