All the residents of Salem City were shocked to see how quickly the clear skies gave way to a sudden downpour of rain.

Sage was just as confused too. She was still in the cafe of the racecourse discussing the details of the racecourse when the lights suddenly flickered for a moment and then popped.

The manager immediately rushed through the rain and into the cafe. He explained to Sage that the sudden malfunction was because of the monthly reparations of the racecourse's electrical grid and the sudden storm that caused the workers to stop the reparations due to health hazards. As such, the electricity would only be back on after the storm resides.

Sage remained calm and told the manager to prioritize the health and safety of their workers first.
