Sage did let the news out herself. Hunter compressed his lips, and his head still ached from bumping on the glass. He said, “Miss Sage, why do I feel like somehow we did this to ourselves?”

She turned to the driver and said, “Can we drive out of here?” The driver nearly hit someone as they came out of nowhere. He barely calmed down, “They’re too close to the car. It’s too dangerous to drive out now. We’ll get into trouble if they fake a road crash and ask us for compensation.
