Embarrassedly, Jim nodded while scratching the back of his head.

"It's my first time getting a gift for a girl. I didn't know what to get, so I asked my aunt and she said that girls usually like bags or accessories. I haven't seen you wearing any necklaces, so I thought of making you one."

Sage noticed the nicks on his fingers. Even though he did not have any band-aids on, she saw the cuts and dried-up blood on his fingers.

She had experience in carving, hence she knew how the nicks came about on his fingers.

Jim quietly hid his hands behind his back. "It's my first time, so I'm not used to it. But it'll get better."

Sage stared at Jim silently. She did not know what to say.

She owned a lot of accessories and pieces of jewelry.

Just the pieces of jewelry she received from her mother were more than enough for her to wear. Plus, the gifts she received from her brothers, adding all up together, would be enough for her to open up her jewelry store.

Sage rarely wore them simply beca
