From what they knew so far, Dave was still innocent.

"Are the thugs lying?" Sage subconsciously blurted out. When she looked up, she saw Tim looking at her with a displeased look. It felt like he was looking at her as an idiot.

Sage fell silent for a moment. Then, her eyes widened in surprise as an idea came to her mind.

"What if neither side is lying? Maybe the real mastermind led the thugs to believe Dave hired them?"

The contempt in Tim's eyes eased a little. He had a cool look that seemed to imply, 'You're not that stupid.'

Sage ignored Tim's expressions and turned serious. She muttered, "So, there's still a mole hiding somewhere. If not Dave, then who is it?"

Sage could not figure it out.

Tim did not want to continue wasting time with her on this topic. He changed the subject and said, "Yale is returning to Tovres soon."

"Huh?" Sage pulled out of her train of thoughts with a dazed look. "Is Yale leaving?" she asked in confusion.

Tim responded to her question with a hum.
