MARIANELLA

After a disastrous breakfast, I was more than ready to go for a walk with Roman around my city, we got up and changed clothes so quickly that there was no time for my family to question where we were going as we said goodbye and jumped out of the house.

The breeze was refreshing on the streets of Spain as I showed him each place I used to go as a teenager.

I confess that I never imagined Roman in this situation, holding hands with me and listening to me babble on about my life and tell random stories, he seems strangely at peace with this moment.

And I couldn't be more pleased with the fact that all my acquaintances that we met on the street, looked in pure shock at the sight of me with him, I believe my gossiping mama has already spread the news to the whole town and of course, they didn't believe it.

The big problem with going back home was this, despite my attachment to this place because all my life has been here, I hated this part of it, I felt persecuted and watched
