CHAPTER 27

The Boss’ wife

Matthew paused when his secretary said this. “Is it in Cent Magazine?” Matthew asked and his secretary nodded.

“Who was injured?” he asked and his assistant was taken aback. Matthew had a feeling that Emerald was the one injured. His secretary rushed over that very moment.

“The police have arrested the head of HR, Mr. Hamilton. They say he attacked an employee from the magazine and she is being taken to the hospital at this very moment,” his head secretary, Cynthia said.

“Both of you, Come with me. The rest stay back and deal with this matter,” he ordered and entered the elevator.

Matthew’s secretaries, Levi and Cynthia, glanced at each other. The boss was angry and something told them it had nothing to do with the arrest done. They glanced at each other and looked away.
