After breakfast, he went to his room first. He had thirty minutes before meeting me in the living room. I cleared my used plate and spent the next few minutes heating popcorn to munch on while watching the movie, getting a duvet for myself.

Just as he said he would, William walked through the living room door exactly thirty minutes later, he walked up to the TV, switched it on, and selected a movie. He turned and made his way to the couch where I sat, settling down in the seat beside me.

“What movie did you put on?” I ask seeing as he blocked my vision earlier when he was selecting a movie.

“You’ll see it when it starts,” he responds with a mischievous look in his eyes.

“Okay,” I say, dragging the word as I glance at him suspiciously. As the movie intro began, I knew immediately that I wasn’t going to like the movie at all.
