After finally admitting to myself that I was hopelessly in love with Sapphire, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. She was still asleep, looking peaceful and utterly beautiful. I wanted to do something special for her, something I'd never done before—make her breakfast in bed before I told her how much I fucking loved her. The idea had me grinning like an idiot.
