chapter Forty Five: Jealousy

RUBY sat on the seat next to the window. When she gets on a plane, she consistently chooses a seat by the window to look at the clouds. "Is your head still hurting?"

She turned to Adam. " "Why do you care if it still hurts?" she replied. She remembered his emotionless face earlier, and Ruby was annoyed.

"I have Advil here if your head still hurts. Just tell me." She glared at Adam and looked back out the window.

After a minute, Ruby felt the plane take off. A minute later, when the plane was in the air, a stewardess asked Adam, "Are you comfortable, sir?" the stewardess asked him.

She felt annoyed seeing Adam smile at the woman. Hmp, this man is really untrustworthy! What a flirt! Ugh! “Yes, it’s comfortable. Thanks for asking.”

The stewardess giggled and Ruby stopped herself from rolling her eyes. Flirt! “Do you need anything, sir?” “Oh, is that so?” the woman sounded disappointed.

“No, I’m good,” Adam said with a broad smile on his face.
