"Why did Zayden have to hide this book from me? He should have given it to me so I could remember it," Olivia muttered.

Olivia was seated in the corner of her room, the dim light from the table lamp highlighting the tattered diary. She began to open the diary, page after page, filled with her own handwriting that now felt so foreign. In her head, every word and story contained a fragment of a long-lost memory.

Her hands trembled as she went further and further into the pages; with every word scribbled, there was a story of love and hurt. Her eyes glazed over as she read about the early days of meeting Zayden, about how she fell in love with him, and about the smile that always brought happiness to her gloomy day.

However, the tears began to flow freely as the next pages revealed the unbearable pain. Olivia reads about unbearable headaches, which she later learns are the effects of the microchip. The pages also reveal how she, in desperation and confusion, repeatedly tries to harm Zayd
