"Mrs. Sanders."
The words kept ringing in Olivia's head and had the effect of making her heart beat erratically.
"What the hell, Mrs. Sanders? That man talks out of his ass," Olivia complained with a red face. Olivia cupped her heated cheeks. She looked at her reflection in the bathroom sink mirror.
"Calm down, Oliv. Don't be so confident," Olivia muttered. 'Obviously he said those things just to help me out of trouble,' Olivia thought to herself.
She then walked out of the bathroom and was surprised to see Zayden standing there. Olivia had to blink her eyes several times.
"What's wrong with your eyes?" asked Zayden, who was standing there with his hands crossed.
"No, I think my eyes have become myopic from seeing you standing in front of the woman's bathroom door, like a pervert," Olivia taunted with her cheekiness.
"Do you think so? I'm just making sure no one bothers you anymore," Zayden said, walking ahead of Olivia.
"Help!"Olivia shouted with tears in her eyes. "Somebody, please call an ambulance!"Everyone in the house burst into Simon's room."Dad!" They rushed over and saw Simon, whose face was already deathly pale."What did you do to my father?" screamed Mery, pushing Olivia's body backwards.Olivia replied with a sad face, "I found him lying on the floor. Tears fell down her cheeks as she looked at Simon."We have to take Dad to the hospital," Diana said."Dad is dead, Diana! How can we take his body to the hospital?" Jacki squealed."But how could we, Hikz?"Among her three children, Diana was the most distressed and sad. "We should call the hospital administrator," said Wilson, Diana's husband."Let's move Dad's body to the bed first," Wilson said, looking at Jacki, who was grunting there. They moved Simon's body to the bed. Olivia was still sitting there with a sinking feeling, and she couldn't believe that her beloved grandfather had passed away."We have to prepare a funeral for Dad
Olivia sat pensively, looking out the window. It was raining quite heavily outside, and Olivia's heart couldn't calm down. She recalled the wonderful memories with Simon's grandfather. Simon gripped Olivia's hand tightly as he escorted her out of the orphanage at the age of 10. "You won't be alone now. Don't be afraid, because Grandpa will always take care of you." That was the first sentence Simon uttered that touched Olivia's heart. "Why did you let go of my hand now? Is it because I don't obey you anymore?" mumbled Olivia, crying. As hard as she could, tears kept flowing down her cheeks. There were so many things that Simon did for Olivia that even Simon did not hesitate to scold his children to protect Olivia. The body was now fragile, so it sat on the floor. Olivia hugged her knees and sobbed there. "Grandpa..." Olivia's heart was filled with deep regret as she silently refused Simon's grandfather's request. And when she wanted to see Grandpa, it turned out that he was no lon
The reading of Simon Mateus' will took place in a large living room filled with family members. Every face present clearly depicted sadness, tension, and impatience. The family lawyer clearly read out the contents of the will, written in blue ink on special paper. The lawyer stated, "Mr. Simon Mateus will fully transfer his 58% share to Olivia Mateus." Meanwhile, I will divide some land and houses equally among my three children. Mr. Zayden Alvedro Sanders now owns Bonaduz Island.A silence fell over the room; everyone was completely shocked there. Olivia, sitting in one corner of the room with a pale face, caught everyone's attention. Simon's three children, Mery, Diana, and Jacki, couldn't hide their anger."Dad couldn't have written this! This must be the result of that foster child's sabotage!" shouted Mery as she stood up from her seat, pointing at Olivia with burning anger.Penelope and Jacki nodded in agreement, both also staring at Olivia with hatef
When she saw Olivia's arrival in the room, Diana said, "Olivia."Olivia was equally surprised to see Diana, Wilson, and their daughter, Queen."Oliv!" With a bright smile, Queen ran over to Oliv and greeted the innocent little boy."How are you, Queen?" asked Olivia, who bowed her body slightly."I'm doing well, Oliv; why don't you live with me anymore?" asked Queen."Because I live here now," Olivia replied, rubbing Queen's head."This house is nice; can I play here?" asked Queen."Of course," replied Olivia, smiling."Queen, come here," Wilson called."Yes, Dad." Queen ran over to Wilson. Olivia got up from her position and walked over to the chair. She was seated on the sofa right next to Zayden."What brings you here?" asked Olivia, not wanting to make small talk; however, she knew that their relationship was not that close."We've come to ask for your help, or perhaps more accurately, to cooperate," Diana said with a
"Damn it!" Jacki raged in the hospital and walked towards Olivia, who was standing in the hallway with lawyer Simon and two bodyguards. The two bodyguards immediately blocked Jacki, who approached Olivia. Zayden could not accompany Olivia because of work; instead, he sent two of the best bodyguards in Black Cat to protect Olivia."How dare you, Olivia!" raged Jacki."Sassy? I'm presumptuous? I just want to know the truth; I'm pretty sure Grandpa was poisoned," Olivia said."Who am I to interfere in Mateus' family matters? You're merely an outsider, saved from the orphanage. Don't cross the line!" snapped Jacki."You're the one who should realize this and not act insolently. If you continue to prevent me from solving Grandpa's murder, I will report you and make you the first suspect," Olivia replied firmly."Damn it!" Jacki's attempt to throw her fist was blocked by one of the bodyguards twisting her hand."Damn it!" screamed Jacki.Jacki
"Miss Olivia, how are you?" greeted Renata with a bright smile.Olivia remained motionless, experiencing nerves and confusion. She never expected to meet Zayden's parents. The scene was filled with excitement and bustle. Everyone was whispering, gazing at Bastian and Renata with interest. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders were popular in Switzerland, and everyone knew it. The colleagues at Mateus' company were convinced of Olivia and Zayden's relationship. They agreed that they would support Olivia and not offend her."Miss Olivia," Renata called back with a bright smile."Eh? Um, sir, ma'am?" Olivia replied very nervously, "My news is good."Renata immediately approached Olivia and embraced the girl. "There is no need to be nervous. We came to pay our respects to your late grandfather. We're sorry for his passing," Renata said."Thank you, ma'am.""Don't call me Madam; call me Mommy, okay?" Renata continued to make Olivia's face red with embarras
"Is Olivia back yet?" asked Zayden, who had just arrived at the villa."Not yet, sir. Miss Olivia hasn't returned to the villa yet," said Boby, the villa's maid."What do you mean, she hasn't come back at all?" Zayden's question stopped him in his tracks.Zayden saw that it was raining heavily outside. "How could he not come back?" Zayden replied, turning around.Clif knew Zayden was very worried about Olivia; she could only walk after Zayden.Arriving at the front of the house, Zayden saw Olivia getting out of the car with a blank stare and pale face. Her eyes looked sad. Olivia stood near the car with the waiter, who immediately shaded Olivia's body, which was quite wet because the woman just got off, before the waiter approached the car. When he noticed this, Zayden removed his jacket and braved the rain to reach Olivia. He wrapped his coat around Olivia's shoulders and put his arm around her to lead her into the house. Olivia halted her
"Good morning, Miss Olivia." The waiter welcomed Olivia to the dining room and served her breakfast.Olivia noticed that the table was empty, with only one seat reserved for her."Where's Zayden?" Olivia asked."Mr. Zayden left earlier. He told you to have breakfast before he left," said the waiter.'Why did Zayden leave earlier without telling me? Do I not have to go with her anymore?' Olivia thought."Miss, please." The waiter's words snapped Olivia out of her reverie. She approached the dining table and took a seat. Actually, she wasn't in the mood to eat. After examining the contents of the flash disc, the thought of Queen's condition consumed her mind. Olivia initially wanted to discuss it with Zayden, but he left first."Maybe later tonight, I can talk to him," Olivia muttered.Zayden, on the other hand, was in his helicopter. He was going to another city to work with Clif, his assistant. Silently, Clif watched Zayd
