Chapter 2: His Home

Amy wakes up in an unfamiliar room. "Where am I?" he asked himself worriedly as he looked around. He noticed Zack, who was fast asleep. The warm night they shared quickly returned to his memory.

He stood up and picked up the covers from the floor. Zack quickly left with his memories. Meanwhile, Zack has woken up. Zack looked for Amy but he saw that the girl was gone.

Zack got up and quickly went down the stairs. He called the butler of the mansion to ask if he had seen a young woman go out.

"Oh sir, nothing," the butler answered, so Zack just nodded and decided to cook some food. However, a servant soon came to him, and said that he had seen Amy. "Sir, a young woman came out earlier, do you know her?" it asked. Zack immediately looked at the assistant.

"What time?" he asked, but the assistant hesitated, clearly confused by Zack's question. In his mind, he wanted to give details but he seemed to have a hard time understanding what the boss said.

Zack's driver suddenly arrived. "It's 6 in the morning, sir," he said, arranging things in the car.

"Is that so," replied Zack, while sipping the rest of the coffee in the cup. His mind was busy with the events of the night before—the kisses, and the unexpected turn of events between him and Amy.

After getting into the car, he leaned over and grabbed his phone, checking the messages and emails he needed to attend to after arriving at the office.

"Sir, we are ready," said the driver, returning to his position.

"Okay, let's go," Zack replied, though his mind still seemed to be traveling back in time. While traveling, he tried to focus and temporarily forget what happened between him and Amy.

As Amy walked, she still couldn't imagine that she had lost her femininity and given it to the man she had just met the day before. Each step seemed to carry the weight of his decision. "You're such a fool, Amy," he whispered to himself, thinking of the memories of their last night.

The heat of the kisses and the deep connection they formed kept coming back to her mind. For a moment, he thought he had sent in a moment of foolishness, a thought that it would have no effect. But here he is now, confused and full of regret.

Every detail of their experience seemed to reach her heart—the way Zack held her hand, the words he uttered that offered security. But behind all that, there is a fear that comes out.

Suddenly, a car stopped in front of Amy, and she was surprised when Zack, the man who had been playing in her mind, got out. Zack approached him, and offered to get in the car.

"Ride on, I'll take you," Zack said, his smile full of trust and concern.

"Don't worry, I'm fine here," Amy replied, continuing to walk. Despite the call of the heart, he chose to avoid the offer. In his mind, he didn't know where he was going, but going back to Zack didn't seem like the right decision.

As he walked, he could feel the man's car still following him. Amy made the decision to enter Zack's car. He thought he would just go down to the corner, near his family's private property that his parents hid and his uncle didn't know about it.

"I'm just around the corner," Amy said, but in the middle of her worry, she forgot Zack's name.

"What's your name again?" he asked, obviously embarrassed.

"Zack," Zack replied, a smile on his lips. His answer seemed to give him some relief.

It was a few months later that she and Zack didn't see each other when Amy remembered when the young man took her outside their private property. Because of that, Amy gradually felt something strange about her laughter.

Amy struggles with what she's going through, for the past few days, her nausea and vomiting seem to be becoming more frequent, making her wonder what's causing it. So he didn't hesitate and before the check up, when the nurse called him, he stood up and walked towards the doctor's office, hoping to get an answer to what was happening to him.

Amy entered Doctora Dilgado's office and was surprised to see Angelie. "Amy, is that you?" Angelie asked with a smile. "Quen Angelie Dilgado, is that you?" Amy replied, happily. They hugged, but behind the smile, Angelie could feel the sadness. "How are you? I'm sorry for your loss,” he said, full of sympathy.

While they were talking, Amy immediately checked up, she shared her feelings for the past few days. Suddenly, Amy started throwing up again and she hurriedly ran to the bathroom. When he came out, he saw Zack, and suddenly he was nervous and his heart beat faster. Quen noticed Amy coming out of the bathroom, and unexpectedly, her vision went dark and she passed out.

Fortunately, Zack caught him before he fell. He slowly laid Amy on the bed inside the clinic. "Brother, what are you doing here?" Zack's brother asked.

"Mom just got home, I'm sending you home..I said I'll fetch you," Zack answered her.

Zack looked at Amy who was fast asleep

"What is he doing here?" Zack asked his brother, full of doubt. Quen answered, "He's getting a check up because he's been feeling strange these past few days," he answered Zack and his brother went out to get the results, leaving the two of them in the room.

Amy gradually woke up, and in her sight Zack's face was near, reflecting the man who had been troubling her mind for a long time. With every beat of his heart, fear and hope mingled, as if there were questions he wanted to express but remained hidden in his mind.

"Ah, hello again Zack," said Amy, she adjusted her seat, she and Zack talked for a while and the young man went out first. Quen arrived with a beautiful message for Amy. "Amy, congratulations!" Quen happily greeted him, handing out the paper.

"Your two months pregnant," Amy was shocked to hear. It was as if the world stopped for him, and his body gradually weakened. He fell to his knees, alone in his thoughts.
