The ride to the hospital was a very hard one, Sophie refused to stop crying so he gave up trying to make her stop and instead just patted her back continuously. Patrick couldn’t come with them because he had to attend meetings on his behalf.

One of the guards said from the front of the car and Lance glared at him. Why would he let them take her when he was in the car with her?
