Sophie was about to fall asleep when she heard the lock on her door turn, she sat up fast knowing it would be the king, he is the only one who would come to find her this late, she knew it was late because she calculated the time between when they had brought her dinner and that was five hours ago so the time was nine or few minutes past ten pm.

Sure enough, the door opened and the king staggered into the room, his eyes found her on the bed and she hurriedly got off the bed and bowed in greeting.
