Chapter 31~Valerie's POV

On the following day, I woke up on time even before the alarm buzzed.

I got dressed in a classy but elegant manner as I headed to the sitting room with my channel bag held in my hand.

Then I heard my mother's voice, "You are up early?" She said.

Chuckled I responded, "Yes Mom, I have to work you know,"

"Right, just be comfortable at work so it won't draw back your healing," She reminded.

"Of course Mom, I'm not a child, I'd be on my way now," I said to her.

"So.... How'd I look?" I inquired after agreeing to her shown care.

"Beautiful as always," She complimented.

"Thanks, Mama," I thanked her as I moved close and kissed her on her cheek.

"Alright ma, bye and take care of yourself," I said finally as I walked out of my apartment.
