Chapter 45 ~ Dante's POV

The following week after the confrontation I had with Raymond on a weekday, while I was working in my office.

Suddenly, I got a call from him, requesting we should meet to talk things out.

Initially, I didn't know it was him calling because he used an unknown number, but I believe in second chances, as we humans are prone to making mistakes, so I decided to respond well to him, the moment I discovered he was the one.

With some reluctance in me as the conversation pressed on, I agreed because, in all honesty, I miss my best friend even though he wants to act like an asshole.

So, I ended the call with him, then I remembered I didn't ask for where to meet with him.

Momentarily, like our minds were in unison of the same thoughts. I heard a chiming sound coming from my phone.

Then, I picked it up for a look, only to find out it was a message from him, sending me the name of the designated location where we are to meet.

"Guess it's a date then, hello
