Reaching the office, on the following day, I felt cringed as I knew coming here was not of my deepest desire.

I entered my office, and began my work for the day, waiting and expecting a knock on my door.

Soon, the expected knock was heard, as I uttered out loud , "Whoever's there can come in," without checking who it was, as all my thoughts were that it would be no one else but Dante.

Hearing my door open, I saw it was Ruth coming in with a paper in her hand.

"Oh! It's you," I said, with a hint of surprise in my voice.

"Yes, Miss Skye, it's me, I am delighted to see you have resumed back to work," she said to me, as I could see a slight laugh on her face.
