She knew David was yelling for her but she couldn't see him or hear him at this point.

She also knew she must be drawing murmurs but she didn't care

All she needed at this point was a place to hide, to be away from him.

She gasped as one hand yanked her, pulling her away from view and behind a wall.

She gasped, feeling trapped between the wall and the body that had a familiar scent.

"Alex?" She finally met his eyes.

He pressed his index finger against his lips, "I can help you get away from him."

The last person she wanted to save her was Alex but she knew David wouldn't give up on looking for her.

Taking her silence as a yes, he guided her to his parked car and helped her in.
