“Run,” a whispered voice said in her ear.Hope wasn’t expecting a voice, or even to have the voice tell her to run. She looked up and over her shoulder as she tied her shoe. As far as she could tell she was alone. “Run? From what?” She asked.“Him,” the voice replied.The blonde didn’t see anyone and figured the spirit was talking about another spirit. She stood up, smoothing her shirt on her left arm when she felt the wave of energy pushing against her back, shoving her forward. Now that was new! Until then she had only heard them and conversed with them, and none had ever “touched” her. “What the hell?”
~~~There was a very good chance that one of the spirits she encountered in Paradise Falls was the one who warned her. She knew it was a male’s voice and he sounded young. Hope decided to start there.After renting a room in town, she looked up the local archives from the town library. It was there in big bold print. The murder and the tornado. As she looked through the pages she felt a small tickle on the back of her neck. “I know you are there.”She moved her hand on the machine, advancing the page. “I’m not here to hurt you. I’m just looking up some history.” She often spoke to the dead, even if they didn’t always talk back.“You might not hurt me, but he did.” A young man said.
Willow Brook had served under Marcus Ryle for nearly two hundred years. She had worked hard to become his first female Beta over one hundred years ago. She was considered the pack's Alpha she-wolf until Marcus met his mate, Jamie Bostwick. Now that she has proven herself as a formidable fighter, Willow asked her Alphas for a chance to travel to several local cities to see if she could find her mate. Not all pack members were able to travel to other packs. There were various cities throughout the country that were considered neutral territories where inmates Weres could work or visit in hopes of finding their mates.Willow rented an apartment in Lynchburg, Virginia, and started to work at one of the tech companies her pack owned. Lynchburg was a neutral city. Any Were could come and go without introducing themselves to Alpha Rossi, since Lynchburg was located in his pack lands. This type of city had no ruling Alpha, but all Weres respected individual packs.Tonight, Willow had d
Alpha Anthony Rossi was stunned, to say the least. When he woke up yesterday morning he never suspected the Moon Goddess would have plans for him in the form of two mates. Willow was a gorgeous woman and her wolf was powerful. And Fox was his equal in every sense. He was tall and strong. His wolf is a mirror of his own in prowess and image.Willow had suggested they take their conversation somewhere more private than the dance floor they had just destroyed in their fight for dominance. Her words held sway and Anthony and Fox accompanied her wishes. Vincent, one of Anthony’s trusted warriors, drove the trio back to Anthony’s private home he used while in Lynchburg. His main location was the pack den located outside of Hagerstown, Maryland. None of the trio were willing to wait for the three-hour drive to get to know each other or finish the mating process. By the time they arrived they had exchanged names and Anthony welcomed both into his pack. There would be no denying the
Only two people had the gall to open without his permission to enter, Ivory his mate, and Aaron his second in command. He knew by the scent it was not his mate. Without looking up Cullen spoke. “I just printed the last report. It seems Jade may be on to something.”Aaron sighed as he lowered his body into the leather chair across from his lifelong friend and alpha. “I spoke to Doof,” Aaron paused before clearing his throat. “He found his mate.” The beta smiled. “Lola Shaffer from Gray Lake pack. He was at the infirmary when she was brought in and hasn't left her side s
Imagine my culture shock moving to Blair County Pennsylvania, Duncansville more specifically in January of all months. I didn't even have a real winter coat.” Ginny paused with a laugh.“Anyways, I started high school. Yes, at twelve. They said I was a prodigy. But what they didn't know was that being an outsider from Florida with no winter clothes and two years younger than
Moundsville OhioRed Moon PackCara was standing on Grayson’s right side when the video call opened. Ginny was sitting to Grayson’s left. All three looked concerned. The moment Ginny had said Dean Abernathy Cara had tensed and understood the Alpha Council needed to be informed.“Thank you for joining us on such short notice,” Grayson said with a nod screen and the five Alpha Council members. Alpha Cullen Steiner of the Good Ole Boys Pack, Marcus Ryle, of the Luna Fenrir Pack, Anthony Rossi of the South Mountain Pack, Ivan Provinsky of the Protrusky Pack, and Chairwoman Kathrine Jones of the Sealgaira’ at Fiach Pack all gave the trio their attention.Chairwoman Jones spoke first in a thick Scottish accent. “Alpha Grayson and Luna’s Cara and Ginny,” she nodded. “How can we be of help to you today?”Ginny was taken back at her being acknowledged as Luna. As far as she knew she was only a member of the Red Moon Pack.Marcus sees Ginny’s face tense spike next. “Luna Ginny Adam
Hello Readers, I am sorry for the delay in posting and updating. Where I live recently had severe weather. I moved my family out of the path of the storm and ended up in a location with limited wifi and cell service. Today I am moving the family and RV/caravan to a new campground and will have a connection again. I will start updating daily provided the weather and family remain stable. At this time, if there are any questions or comments, please ask them or leave them. I would like to hear from you. Also which type of Were/shifter would you like to see join the story? Thanks, Michelle
