"Roman!" Nicole said, and immediately ran into his arms.

However, the look on her face was conflicting as it didn't look like she was scared.

"What's wrong?" He asked, as his hand rested on her shoulders. He had been surprised that he didn't see Nicole walking behind him. As soon as he got Jamie to her bedroom, he turned around to look for Nicole.

"She had to talk to me." Nate's voice suddenly resounded and Nicole's head snapped to look at him.

"It was important." Nate added and Nicole wondered what he was up to.

"May I know what you had to talk about?" Roman asked, with a frown. His hand rested on Nicole's waist as he didn't suspect her of anything.

He knew the elder was up to something. However, he couldn't detect any form of malicious intent.
