~Lucienne~

Daniel locked me in and then rushed out like he was being chased. Not like I cared but he could at least help me out of the handcuffs.

“So you'd kill yourself again, yeah right,” my internal voice, the one I created to act like my wolf voiced out in my subconscious.

“Well I need to set myself free,” I mumbled, then struggled to get off my feet. I knew he took the keys but there had to be other ways to unlock the cuffs.

I glanced around the dimly lit room, searching desperately for anything that could help me escape these cursed handcuffs. My eyes landed on a small table in the corner, where a rusty old knife lay discarded. With a glimmer of hope, I limped over and picked it up, ignoring the pain shooting through my wounded leg.

"Maybe this will do the trick," I muttered to myself, clutching the knife tightly in my hand. With trembling fingers, I tried to maneuver the blade into the small crevice of the handcuff, hoping to pry it open. But no matter how hard I pushed and

    Killian's POV“How long till we get to the nearest hospital?” I asked, my voice low due to the fear of losing the girl on the bed. “Alpha we… we can't find any good hospital close by that'll be able to treat her condition,” My second in command said with a broken look. He knew how much Lucienne meant to me. I couldn't leave her, not like this. “The only option we have is to fly her home. I have the helicopter ready to go and before we get to the hospital I could call the hospital to prepare for her since we are dealing with… ““Poison,” The nurse who was busy doing compressions answered and I nodded. “Do it!”Immediately, the ambulance changed course from the intended location to the hangar where the helicopter would be. Every second felt like an eternity as I looked at her, her future lying motionless on the stretcher. My mind raced with possibilities, with worries, with hopes that she would make it through and that once bright smile that graced her face all those years would retu

    Is it truly one's guilt that forces you to hell? Or is there a particular someone who watches us every single moment and reports our actions to the Moon Goddess? Are they the ones who judge us instead? “Over there girl,” Lucienne was pushed, her face and body with so much blood. She stood in front of the dark cave, the sounds of chains hitting the ground as the warden specified that this, right here was indeed her hell. “Go in,” He spat. “There's no going back to the land of the living. He is waiting to place his mark on you. Don't keep the Prince waiting…”~~~~~~~~~~~Lucienne~“Daniel please,” Became my chant day and night in this hell of mine. Who would've thought escaping from life itself wasn't enough to grant me peace? Who would have thought I would still come to meet my torturer, Daniel? “Go on, there's nothing you can do. You can't go back to the land of the living,” The warden pushed me again, but I shook my head. “Please, let me breathe. Let me take a rest before we begin

    ~Killian~“Ever since we brought her back she remained like this, Alpha Killian. All day and all night. It's like she is trapped in her own subconscious or something. Nothing we do seems to alert her of her surroundings just staring at the ceiling.” The Doctor said and I nodded, masking the sad feeling I felt these past few days after hearing there was just a tiny progress on Lucienne. I couldn't tell how long I stood there, staring at her and thinking of what to do. The last time I approached her, she didn't notice me but I decided to give it another go today. Maybe, hopefully, she sees me. “Lucienne,” I called softly and waited for a while but nothing. I noticed she was a bit stiff and after confirming it was okay to put her in a sitting position, the nurses helped me adjust her and I sat beside her, before calling again. “Lucienne, it's me Killian. Can you hear me?”“Killian?” she finally said a word after days of being conscious and mute. My lips immediately turned into a smile

    ~~~~~~~~Sir, we have a problem,” the warden told the man who sat at the head chair, the ruler of this particular limbo some might call hell. “What is not now?” A grumpy tone filled the area. “If it's something useless, into the dungeon you go.”“It is subject A997, sir. We can't seem to touch her anymore.”“Explain,” The grumpy tone turned different and the warden explained how Lucienne began to become faint and invisible moments after her last torture sessions.“Rise,” The man ordered the warden who was on his knees, thinking he was the one who did something wrong. “It's the Moon Goddess’ doing. Find another soul to torture. I'll handle this.”~~~~~~~~~Killian's POVI sighed, bracing myself for the conversation I knew was coming. “Olivia, I told you not to call me anymore," I replied, trying to keep my tone even despite the annoyance bubbling within me."I know, but I couldn't help it. You've been so distant lately, Killian. I miss you," she whined, her voice dripping with false sw
"and I didn't.""You're telling me you didn't help that subject? Then why is she leaving?""maybe because she wasn't dead yet...""She was in a coma?" I asked and Selene nodded. "I'm guessing you now know why she went back"I do," I responded before leaving for my own kingdom of torture. What a lucky being the lady was.~~~~~~Killian's POVAs the adrenaline from the successful plan against Daniel began to fade, exhaustion began to creep in. With a heavy but contented heart, I decided to call it a night after a quick dinner with my two friends. Heading to my quarters, I slipped into bed, feeling the weight of the day's events lifting off my shoulders with each passing moment. Sleep came quickly, and for a brief moment, the worries and responsibilities of being Alpha Killian faded away. However, my peaceful slumber was abruptly interrupted
"Fine," she spat, turning on her heel and storming out of the cafe.As I watched Olivia's retreating figure, frustration and anger bubbled up inside me. Her behavior was completely unacceptable, and I knew I couldn't let it go unchecked.Turning back to Dr. Hayes, I offered her an apology. "I'm sorry you had to witness that, Dr. Hayes. Olivia can be… difficult."Dr. Hayes nodded sympathetically, her expression softening. "It's quite alright, Alpha Killian. I understand. Not to mention I deal with psycho patients." "Thank you for your understanding. I hope this hasn't soured our business."Dr. Hayes shook her head, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Not at all, Alpha Killian.
