Tamara's POV

I stood there, horrified and heartbroken but I refused to give up.

"But this is my house Jack! I’m the Luna of the winter pack so I get to say who—“

“You don’t get to say anything alone Luna! Have you forgotten that we merged our packs when I claimed you?” Jack interrupted. "I have an equal say in everything. Stop being selfish and think of others for once. Kate will stay with us and that’s final." He declared in a firm unyielding Alpha tone.

I felt my blood boil as I watched Jack scoop Kate up in his arms and carry her to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

She still had that smug smile on her face. That bitch!

Kate had won this round, and unless I did something drastic, she would continue to win. But what could I do?

The logical thing would be to break up with him now so we don’t get married and he doesn’t kill me in the future right?

But there was one problem. Our packs had already merged to become one, and as my pack had grown, Jack’s pack had grown in number and power too.

If I broke up with him, he would probably turn around and send his pack to attack my people with our own resources, and that would be a blood bath.

If I was going to break up with Jack, I had to make sure that my pack would be protected by something or someone strong enough to scare away any retaliation from Jack. But how was I supposed to find that kind of protection? Jack was scared of nobody.

I felt so choked up with emotion that it was overwhelming. I needed some space to breathe.

I left the house, stripped off my clothes and shifted into my wolf form as I ran into the woods, the cool evening air was amazing against my skin.

It felt amazing to be alive!

I felt my wolf Maya rise to the surface to speak to me. “Our parents are alive too! In this time line, our friends and loved ones are all still alive! Tamara, we have to keep them safe this time!” She urged and I agreed.

It seemed that the war and attacks that killed our parents and killed almost half of my pack hadn’t started happening yet.

According to the past timeline, in Just four months from now, Our worst enemy, the ruthless Alpha Dante would send his men to start spying on us. Then he would launch a surprise attack and kill my parents who had retired to Switzerland.

In the past, Alpha Dante had claimed that he was attacking us because my pack members had stolen from him, but we never did such a thing, we were being framed.

After that, a war broke out between us and Alpha Dante wiped out more than half of my pack members.

In the past, Kate used that opportunity to convince my people that everything was my fault. The people blamed me for the death of their loved ones, and turned their backs on me, choosing to support Kate instead.

All this would happen in just four months from now. Which meant that I only had about four months to save my self, my parents and my pack from certain death.

I ran deeper into the forest, trying to clear my thoughts but I soon got tired and decided to head home.

I was sweaty from the run, so I decided to take a shower, but just as I began to strip off my clothes, Jack walked in with an apologetic look on his face. He was also holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.

I quickly pulled my top down, hiding my nakedness from him.

Jack quirked his brow at me. "Why are you hiding your breasts from me? It's not like I haven't seen before." He said and I felt like punching him. He had lost the rights to my body the day I realized he was a traitor.

“What do you want Jack?” I snapped, failing to hide my irritation from him.

Jack looked so shocked at my tone that he froze. “What’s got into you Tamara? You’ve never spoken to me like this before, did I do something wrong?” He asked and I wanted to laugh.

The only thing he did wrong was lie to me, cheat on me, betray me, and then kill me and my unborn child, but he couldn’t discover that I knew these things, so I faked another smile and sighed.

“I’m sorry darling, preparing for the wedding is making me a little tired lately.” I apologized and Jack smiled at me.

"It’s alright Tamara," he began,"I'm also very sorry for yelling at you earlier and arguing with you. I shouldn't have disrespected you in front of everyone. I swear it will never happen again. Please forgive me." He said.

I blinked at him in surprise. The Jack from my past never bought me flowers, and he never apologized so profusely. What was going on?

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    On a mission

Ivonne's pov After the weird encounter with Solenne, I made my way to Tessa's room. I knocked lightly, and after a moment, the door cracked open. Tessa peeked out, her eyes bleary and her hair also a tangled mess.It seemed that a nasty hangover was our consequence for last night. “Oh goddess,” she groaned, shielding her eyes from the light. “Why are you so loud?” “I’m not loud,” I said, stepping in. “You’re just hungover.” She flopped onto her bed. “I’m dying. Elara must have cursed me with that drink.” “Elara didn’t curse you,” I said with a small laugh. “an I uh came to ask what happened last night because I seemed to have blacked out.” Tessa blinked up at me. “You don’t remember?” “No,” I said. “Nothing.” “Oh.” She frowned, thinking. “Well, you went to pee, remember? I went too. But you said you were sleepy and didn’t want to come back, so I returned to Elara's room alone.” “That’s all?” “That’s all,” she confirmed, rolling onto her stomach. “You didn’t miss mu

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Weird

Ivonne's pov I knocked on Elara’s door and immediately regretted how loud it sounded as it worsened my still aching head. The sharp thud echoed down the hall, and after a long pause, a very groggy voice groaned from the other side. “For the love of the goodness! Who is it this early morning?”She sounded like how I felt when I first woke up with that pounding headache. “It’s me, Ivonne,” I said quickly. “Can I come in?” The door opened just a crack, and Elara’s face appeared. Her usually sharp eyes were half-closed, her hair was sticking up in every direction, and she looked about five seconds away from collapsing again. This was the first time I had ever seen a Lycan look anything but perfect. It was actually a refreshing sight. “Oh, goddess,” she muttered, rubbing her forehead. “Don’t tell me it’s late morning already.” “It’s almost noon,” I said, stepping inside. Her room was dim, the curtains drawn, and it smelled faintly of wine and lycan mead. “You look like death.”

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Walk of shame

Ivonne's pov The question gnawed at me, but every time I tried to think.... the weirdest thing would happen A sharp headache would suddenly pierce through me And I would grimace in pain. “Ugh,” I groaned, rubbing my forehead.Hector frowned at me. “You should go back to your room and have breakfast,” He said suddenly. “Take an aspirin after that and You’ll feel better." He advised before adding. "You should know your limits and try not to drink too much next time. “Don’t tell me what to do,” I snapped automatically. It was a childish response, I know, but my head hurt too much for me to care. He gave a dry chuckle and shook his head. “So petty.” He drawled “And you’re too bossy,” I shot back. He didnt respond to that so an awkward Silence stretched between us for a few seconds before I sighed. “Anyway… thanks, I guess. For… letting me sleep here.” He looked at me for a long moment before saying quietly, “Its not like you gave me much of a choice there.” “What? What's

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    What happened last night?

Authors note: Hi everyone 🤗. I have a new book out titled Freya's revenge mates. please check it out and let me know if you like and want me to continue it. It would mean a lot. Thank youu 🥰Ivonne's pov What did I do last night? And what did he do? Or rather, what might he have done to me? I stared at the sheets in horror, but my mind was completely blank. No. No way. This couldn’t be happening. I couldn't be half-dressed—in Hector’s bed! Not after all I had said about him yesterday. For a second I just sat there, frozen, trying to breathe through the panic hammering in my chest. After everything that had happened yesterday, after I’d promised myself I’d stay away from him—here I was, wrapped in his scent, surrounded by his things. How much more stupid could I get? “This has to be a nightmare,” I muttered under my breath, furious at myself. My hands clenched as I grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around me as tightly as I could. My eyes darted around the room, searching

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Ivonne and Lycan mead

Ivonne's pov Denise gave me a small, approving smile before excusing herself to let me work. Once she left, I continued flipping through the papers but Elara stretched and smirked. “You need a break. Come to my room, I’ve got a bottle of lycan mead I’ve been saving for sometime now.” I raised a brow. “Lycan mead? I've heard stories about it, Isn’t that super strong?” “That’s the fun part,” she said. "But don't worry, I won't let you take more than you can handle." Tessa giggled. “Count me in. I could use something to brighten this boring weekend.” I hesitated, then shrugged. “Why not? I deserve a break too.”"Great!" Elara practically clapped before dragging me off the bed and to her room with Tessa in tow. A few minutes later, we were sprawled across the couch in Elara’s room, each of us holding a glass of the golden liquid. The mead had a sharp, honeyed scent and burned slightly going down, but it wasn’t unpleasant. “This stuff is stronger than it looks,” I said after my sec

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Fuck Hector

Ivonne's POV Elara now sat on the edge of my bed, arms folded, watching me with a quiet, all-knowing look. “I told you,” she said softly, not even smug, just tired. “I knew he’d show you exactly who he was sooner or later.” “Yeah,” I muttered, rubbing my temple. “You were right. I should’ve listened.” I let out a long, tired sigh, sinking deeper into my bed as the reality of the weekend finally hit me. I really should have just listened to Elara from the start. I should’ve stayed far, far away from Hector. I don’t even know what possessed me to agree to that stupid trip with him. Now, my whole weekend was ruined — my mood, my energy, everything.Fuck! The worst part was, I’d actually thought for a moment that Hector wasn’t as cold or hostile as everyone said. I thought maybe, deep down, there was something more human beneath all that arrogance and anger. But I was wrong. Completely wrong. At least now I’d seen his real nature for myself. And honestly, it was a relief. I didn’t
