Tamara's POV

I stood there, horrified and heartbroken but I refused to give up.

"But this is my house Jack! I’m the Luna of the winter pack so I get to say who—“

“You don’t get to say anything alone Luna! Have you forgotten that we merged our packs when I claimed you?” Jack interrupted. "I have an equal say in everything. Stop being selfish and think of others for once. Kate will stay with us and that’s final." He declared in a firm unyielding Alpha tone.

I felt my blood boil as I watched Jack scoop Kate up in his arms and carry her to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

She still had that smug smile on her face. That bitch!

Kate had won this round, and unless I did something drastic, she would continue to win. But what could I do?

The logical thing would be to break up with him now so we don’t get married and he doesn’t kill me in the future right?

But there was one problem. Our packs had already merged to become one, and as my pack had grown, Jack’s pack had grown in number and power too.

If I broke up with him, he would probably turn around and send his pack to attack my people with our own resources, and that would be a blood bath.

If I was going to break up with Jack, I had to make sure that my pack would be protected by something or someone strong enough to scare away any retaliation from Jack. But how was I supposed to find that kind of protection? Jack was scared of nobody.

I felt so choked up with emotion that it was overwhelming. I needed some space to breathe.

I left the house, stripped off my clothes and shifted into my wolf form as I ran into the woods, the cool evening air was amazing against my skin.

It felt amazing to be alive!

I felt my wolf Maya rise to the surface to speak to me. “Our parents are alive too! In this time line, our friends and loved ones are all still alive! Tamara, we have to keep them safe this time!” She urged and I agreed.

It seemed that the war and attacks that killed our parents and killed almost half of my pack hadn’t started happening yet.

According to the past timeline, in Just four months from now, Our worst enemy, the ruthless Alpha Dante would send his men to start spying on us. Then he would launch a surprise attack and kill my parents who had retired to Switzerland.

In the past, Alpha Dante had claimed that he was attacking us because my pack members had stolen from him, but we never did such a thing, we were being framed.

After that, a war broke out between us and Alpha Dante wiped out more than half of my pack members.

In the past, Kate used that opportunity to convince my people that everything was my fault. The people blamed me for the death of their loved ones, and turned their backs on me, choosing to support Kate instead.

All this would happen in just four months from now. Which meant that I only had about four months to save my self, my parents and my pack from certain death.

I ran deeper into the forest, trying to clear my thoughts but I soon got tired and decided to head home.

I was sweaty from the run, so I decided to take a shower, but just as I began to strip off my clothes, Jack walked in with an apologetic look on his face. He was also holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.

I quickly pulled my top down, hiding my nakedness from him.

Jack quirked his brow at me. "Why are you hiding your breasts from me? It's not like I haven't seen before." He said and I felt like punching him. He had lost the rights to my body the day I realized he was a traitor.

“What do you want Jack?” I snapped, failing to hide my irritation from him.

Jack looked so shocked at my tone that he froze. “What’s got into you Tamara? You’ve never spoken to me like this before, did I do something wrong?” He asked and I wanted to laugh.

The only thing he did wrong was lie to me, cheat on me, betray me, and then kill me and my unborn child, but he couldn’t discover that I knew these things, so I faked another smile and sighed.

“I’m sorry darling, preparing for the wedding is making me a little tired lately.” I apologized and Jack smiled at me.

"It’s alright Tamara," he began,"I'm also very sorry for yelling at you earlier and arguing with you. I shouldn't have disrespected you in front of everyone. I swear it will never happen again. Please forgive me." He said.

I blinked at him in surprise. The Jack from my past never bought me flowers, and he never apologized so profusely. What was going on?

  • 3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance   Missing girls

Ivonne's POV For a moment after Sevin’s words, everything inside me just… stopped. It didn’t make sense. “They took… fourteen girls?” I finally managed to say, my voice coming out quieter than I expected, like my mind was still trying to catch up with the reality of what he had just told us. Sevrin nodded grimly, and somehow that made it worse. Fourteen. Not one. Not two. Fourteen noble and foreign alpha daughters had been taken right under our noses. “How?” I asked, the word slipping out before I could stop it. “How is that even possible? The guards have been on high alert since the festival started. The borders were reinforced. Patrols were doubled. So how—” My voice broke slightly, and I hated that it did. Hector, on the other hand, didn’t look confused. He looked furious. A cold, dangerous kind of fury that made the air around him feel heavier. “We must find them,” he said sharply. “Now.” Sevrin straightened immediately. “I’ve already gathered men. The search partie

Ivonne's POV Walking into the council hall felt like stepping straight into a battlefield. My fingers tightened slightly around Hector’s hand as the heavy doors were pushed open, revealing the large hall beyond. The council members and elders were already seated in their usual arrangement, their expressions unreadable, their presence heavy with authority and expectation.I braced myself.I fully expected the moment we stepped in to be met with criticism, accusations, or at the very least, disapproving stares. So when every single person in the hall suddenly stood up at once—I froze. And then, in perfect unison, they all bowed to us Deeply. My eyes widened in shock. For a second, I genuinely thought I had walked into the wrong room.“What…?” I whispered under my breath.Hector leaned slightly closer to me, his voice low enough that only I could hear.“It's just Custom,” he murmured. “They’re acknowledging us as Alpha and Luna.”I blinked, still processing the sight of an entire counc

Ivonne's POVI was still staring at Luna Kayla in shock as her eyes continued to glow. Not the faint golden shimmer that Lycans sometimes had when their wolves stirred close to the surface.No.This was different. Her eyes were shining with a bright, almost blinding gold, like molten sunlight trapped behind her pupils.I froze.“Kayla?” I said slowly. She didn’t respond. Her gaze remained locked on my face, but it felt like she wasn’t actually seeing me.“Kayla?” I tried again, stepping closer and gently tapping her arm. That was when the realization hit me.She had entered a trance. My mind immediately flew back to something I had been told when I visited the southern pack. Alpha Adrian, Lady Catherine, and several others had spoken about Luna Kayla with a kind of reverence that I hadn’t fully understood at the time. They had explained that she was… different.Special.Her bloodline descended from a rare mixture of Lycan and ancient Valkyrie women, which gave the women in her family

Ivonne's POV My eyes widened when I looked at the date he was pointing at. “Wait… I do recognize the date! that’s around the year my father was born.” Justin nodded slowly. “Interesting.” He flipped the page. “There’s no exact birthday listed here.” “I know my father’s birthday though,” I said quickly, reciting it. Justin compared the dates. “That’s about a month after this child was placed into the adoption home.” My confusion deepened. “Why would that matter?” Justin didn’t answer right away. Instead, he asked another question. “What were your grandparents’ names?” “My father’s parents?” I asked. He nodded. “Grandpa Arthur and Granny Shania. They were both simple people from the northern continent,” I said slowly. “Very kind, but nothing unusual. They passed away when I was young.” Justin hummed thoughtfully. Then he pointed to another name on the document. “What about this one?” I stared at the name. Nicholas... the baby's name. At firs

Ivonne's POV I took the package from Justin almost immediately. My fingers closed around it before I even fully realized what I was doing, but the moment the weight of it settled in my hands, however, I had to pause because a sudden thought struck me. I looked up at him sharply. “Did you open it?” Justin shook his head without hesitation. “No.” I studied his face carefully, searching for any sign that he might be lying. “But,” he added calmly, “I believe I have a pretty good guess about what’s inside.” My fingers tightened slightly around the package. “How is that possible if you didn't open it?” The words came out sharper than I intended. “All the things Mr. Archibald sent to me were highly confidential,” I continued, my eyes narrowing. “He specifically told me not to tell anyone about them. So how can you know?.” Justin simply smiled, a small knowing curve of his lips that made my suspicion grow stronger. “Well,” he said lightly, “you’ve already noticed that I know much

Welcome back Alpha and Luna."Severin rolled his eyes.“Yes Welcome, and We have more updates.”“Good news I hope?” Hector asked.“All good,” Severin replied. “More visitors are arriving every day. And some guests who already left are spreading positive reports about the Lycan realm back in their own packs.”“That’s exactly what we hoped for,” Hector said. While they continued discussing logistics, I gently tugged Severin aside.“Quick question,” I whispered. He raised an eyebrow.“What
