Tamara's POV

I stood there, horrified and heartbroken but I refused to give up.

"But this is my house Jack! I’m the Luna of the winter pack so I get to say who—“

“You don’t get to say anything alone Luna! Have you forgotten that we merged our packs when I claimed you?” Jack interrupted. "I have an equal say in everything. Stop being selfish and think of others for once. Kate will stay with us and that’s final." He declared in a firm unyielding Alpha tone.

I felt my blood boil as I watched Jack scoop Kate up in his arms and carry her to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

She still had that smug smile on her face. That bitch!

Kate had won this round, and unless I did something drastic, she would continue to win. But what could I do?

The logical thing would be to break up with him now so we don’t get married and he doesn’t kill me in the future right?

But there was one problem. Our packs had already merged to become one, and as my pack had grown, Jack’s pack had grown in number and power too.

If I broke up with him, he would probably turn around and send his pack to attack my people with our own resources, and that would be a blood bath.

If I was going to break up with Jack, I had to make sure that my pack would be protected by something or someone strong enough to scare away any retaliation from Jack. But how was I supposed to find that kind of protection? Jack was scared of nobody.

I felt so choked up with emotion that it was overwhelming. I needed some space to breathe.

I left the house, stripped off my clothes and shifted into my wolf form as I ran into the woods, the cool evening air was amazing against my skin.

It felt amazing to be alive!

I felt my wolf Maya rise to the surface to speak to me. “Our parents are alive too! In this time line, our friends and loved ones are all still alive! Tamara, we have to keep them safe this time!” She urged and I agreed.

It seemed that the war and attacks that killed our parents and killed almost half of my pack hadn’t started happening yet.

According to the past timeline, in Just four months from now, Our worst enemy, the ruthless Alpha Dante would send his men to start spying on us. Then he would launch a surprise attack and kill my parents who had retired to Switzerland.

In the past, Alpha Dante had claimed that he was attacking us because my pack members had stolen from him, but we never did such a thing, we were being framed.

After that, a war broke out between us and Alpha Dante wiped out more than half of my pack members.

In the past, Kate used that opportunity to convince my people that everything was my fault. The people blamed me for the death of their loved ones, and turned their backs on me, choosing to support Kate instead.

All this would happen in just four months from now. Which meant that I only had about four months to save my self, my parents and my pack from certain death.

I ran deeper into the forest, trying to clear my thoughts but I soon got tired and decided to head home.

I was sweaty from the run, so I decided to take a shower, but just as I began to strip off my clothes, Jack walked in with an apologetic look on his face. He was also holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.

I quickly pulled my top down, hiding my nakedness from him.

Jack quirked his brow at me. "Why are you hiding your breasts from me? It's not like I haven't seen before." He said and I felt like punching him. He had lost the rights to my body the day I realized he was a traitor.

“What do you want Jack?” I snapped, failing to hide my irritation from him.

Jack looked so shocked at my tone that he froze. “What’s got into you Tamara? You’ve never spoken to me like this before, did I do something wrong?” He asked and I wanted to laugh.

The only thing he did wrong was lie to me, cheat on me, betray me, and then kill me and my unborn child, but he couldn’t discover that I knew these things, so I faked another smile and sighed.

“I’m sorry darling, preparing for the wedding is making me a little tired lately.” I apologized and Jack smiled at me.

"It’s alright Tamara," he began,"I'm also very sorry for yelling at you earlier and arguing with you. I shouldn't have disrespected you in front of everyone. I swear it will never happen again. Please forgive me." He said.

I blinked at him in surprise. The Jack from my past never bought me flowers, and he never apologized so profusely. What was going on?

Ivonne's povI kept my glare fixed on Lincoln, my teeth grinding slightly as I struggled to breathe evenly. That necklace... my mother’s necklace... was more than just jewelry. It was memory, legacy, every ounce of love and care my father had put into protecting my mother’s memory. And here was this tramp Alison, wearing it like some trophy, with Lincoln silently letting it happen.“I can’t fuckng believe this,” I sneered at him. “Lincoln… did you actually give her that?”Lincoln sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “No. I didn’t give it to her.”My eyes narrowed. “Then what? Did you… allow it? Permit it?”Alison smirked, stepping closer, and with all the grace of someone deliberately testing me, she said, “Nope. Lincoln didn’t give it to me. He just said I could take anything I wanted, and I wanted this. So, here we are.”My chest tightened so fast I almost couldn’t speak. “You—remove it. Now.”Alison laughed, a sharp, brittle sound that grated on my nerves. “Or what?”“Or I remov

Ivonne's POV I stare at Lincoln like he has just spoken in another language. My ears ring and my chest feels hollow.Because Did he just say I had an affair? Did he just really say I got pregnant by another man?And then.... Did he just accuse me of doing something so foul as secretly killing the child and hiding it? “You… you think I cheated on you Lincoln?” I whisper. His jaw tightens. “Stop fucking pretending,” he snarls. “You know I know the truth now.” My knees wobble and I grab the edge of his desk to steady myself. “I have only ever been pregnant once,” I say slowly. “Once, Lincoln.” My throat burns. “So are you saying… that pregnancy belonged to someone else?” His eyes flash with fury. “Thats exactly what I'm saying, stop playing dumb.” “I’m not playing anything,” I say. “I’m trying to understand what kind of nightmare you’ve been living in for years without telling me.” He laughs bitterly. “You secretly had an affair behind my back, Ivonne. Tight as I turn to her.She pulls me a few feet away from everyone, eyes blazing.“Tell me what the hell you’re doing.”I blink.“Which part?”“Don’t play dumb.” She gestures vaguely in the direction the concubines disappeared. “You just accommodated the concubines. With scripts. Like they’re… friends. Or partners. Or—”“Actors.”She stares at me. “…What?”I smile slowly.“We need actors.”Her mouth opens, Closes then Opens again.“You want to use Hector’s potential concubines… as actors… in a political corporate play… in front of the entire world?”“When you say it like that, it sounds genius.”Elara looks horrified. “Ivonne, I genuinely think you’re losing your mind. • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    What truth?

Ivonne's POV should be sleeping. Any sane person would be sleeping. But instead, I’m sitting on the edge of the bed, wrapped in Hector’s oversized shirt, staring at the door like it personally owes me an explanation. The candles on the side table have burned halfway down. The palace is quiet in that eerie midnight way where even the guards seem to move softer. He’s late. Again. I tell myself not to panic. He’s the Alpha. He’s guarding a vulnerable realm. Of course he’s late. Still… I keep checking the door. Still… my chest feels tight. I hug my knees. “So much for acting Alpha,” I mutter. “Can’t even act normal enough to sleep.” I glance at the clock. Midnight. Great. I exhale slowly, debating whether to lie down when footsteps echo faintly in the hallway. My head snaps up. Keys shift. The door opens. Hector steps inside. He looks exhausted. Not the normal “long day” tired. The deep, bone-weary kind. His shoulders sag. His hair is slightly damp with sweat.
