Tamara's POV

"I'm your sister to be." the blonde woman said with an annoying smirk.

"What?"

I blinked, caught off guard as the blonde woman standing in front of me smiled even wider, enjoying my confusion.

"Sister?" I echoed. For a moment, I wondered if she was Dante's younger sister, Ciri, but then o remembered that Dante had described her as a sweet, shy seventeen-year-old.

But this blonde woman, though, was obviously closer to my age, probably in her twenties. And her mischievous smirk didn’t exactly scream "sweetheart."

I tilted my head, trying to keep my patience and my tone calm. "Sorry, but... who are you, exactly?"

She just waved her hand dismissively. "Never mind that. I just wanted to meet you and give you a word of advice, sister to sister."

The mocking emphasis on “sister” was impossible to ignore. My fingers twitched, itching to cross to smack that smug look on her face, but I kept them at my sides. "And what advice would that be?" I gritted out.

Tamara's POV "I can't believe you actually brought that traitorous bitch over here to meet Mother. What the fuck are you thinking, Dante?" I immediately froze, stunned by the venom in Reuben's tone as he lashed out at his brother. I’d only ever heard about Reuben from Dante, but nothing had prepared me for the raw hatred he seemed to hold for me. Dante’s voice turned cold as steel. "Watch your mouth, Reuben. And this is my marriage, so you should tay out of what doesn’t concern you." "Ofcourse it concerns me," Reuben snapped, glaring. "You’re trying to ruin this pack by making her our Luna— you are destroying our family’s legacy and reputatio. The one our father and brother worked their entire lives to build." I saw the way Dante’s jaw clenched, and a storm gathering in his eyes. He was losing his patience. "What fucking Legacy?! Father and our brother spent so much time fighting endless wars, caught up in vendettas with other packs, that they were destroying their own peo

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The story of Amanda

Tamara's POV The drive back to the hotel was tense. Dante barely said a word to anyone, and I could feel the tension rolling off him. He had insisted on driving himself, but his jaw was clenched and his hands gripped the wheel a little too tightly, even his eyes were focused on the road with an intensity that didn’t feel like him. It made me realize that Reuben's words had hit him a lot harder than I expected and now he was trying hard to focus on something else. When we finally arrived at the hotel, he stormed up to our room, and straight to the balcony, staring out at the city lights without saying a word. I let him be, giving him the space he needed, but it hurt to see him so distressed and lost in thought. After a while, I slipped into the bathroom, hoping a hot bath might help clear my own head, too, tonight had been... a lot for all of us. The warm water felt comforting, and I tried to wash away the feeling of Reuben’s words and the doubt they were trying to plant in the

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Relationship with Adrian

Tamara's POV "I'm fine now, as long as I have you, I'll be fine… you’re all I care about. You’re my future, Tamara." Dante whispered. I heard his words completely, and I think he believed them, but words were not the same as actions, and if I was truly his future, then why was he still hiding the fact that I was his second chance mate? I glanced at Dante. Keeping our bond hidden wasn’t easy, not when he had made me feel like I was his whole world, but my heart was filling with so many contradicting questions until I couldn’t hold back anymore. So I decided to ask him. “Dante… I really do believe you, but why are you choosing to keep our mating bond a secret?” I asked, keeping my tone light but serious. “If I really am your future, then wouldn’t you want everyone to know that this isn’t just about pack alliances, power or land? why don't you want them to know that we're the real deal?” Dante turned to me then, his expression soft as he lifted my hand to his lips, brushing a k

Tamara's POV “I honestly doubt that Possibility Luna. I swallowed hard, nodding. “Of course.” After my conversation with Adrian, I was a little freaked out, but I decided to put it at the back of my mind and get ready for the most important part of the day, meeting Dante's mother. I hadn't yet heard from him yet, so I just got dressed and waited by the window, hoping to see some sign of Dante, but there was nothing. What was going on? I really hoped his mom wasn't giving him a hard time. Yes, George had assured me that Dante could handle himself, but I can’t help but worry about him. His mother’s influence over the northern elders was our main hope and, if she was pissed at him for defending me from his brot

I stared at Reuben in shock as my mind began reeling. Murder and Terrorism? His words made absolutely no sense, and yet the anger in his voice was unmistakable.Someone had been attacked and killed, and they were blaming me for it.But who had died? And who was trying to pin it on me? I remembered George telling me not to stirr up any more trouble for Dante, and Cold fear crept up my spine, settling like ice in my veins, but I forced myself to hold my ground, hoping that if I stayed calm, maybe Reuben would explain himself. “I don’t understand…” I managed, my voice coming out far softer than I intended. “What exactly are you talking about, Reuben? My wrists ached from the handcuffs, cold steel biting into my skin, and the sound of my boots scraping against the ground made me grit my teeth. But that wasn’t what twisted a knot in my stomach—it was the fact that, all around, I saw no sign of Violet, Sophie, or anyone from my group. "Where are they?" • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Who did this?

Tamara's POV Yea, I was pretty sure that fairness, was probably the last thing on Reuben's mind. I finally ealized then that the investigation was unavoidable; it was coming for us, whether we wanted it or not. We couldn’t run from it, and if we didn’t prepare ourselves, we’d only be more vulnerable. As much as I hated feeling cornered, I was beginning to see that the best we could do was be ready. I turned to Sophie, forcing myself to sound steady. “How exactly does the investigation process work, Sophie?” I asked. I didn’t know if I was ready to hear the answer, but I needed it anyway. Sophie sighed, clearly sharing my anxiety. “Well, they’re going to question all of us individually—our relationships, any connection with Adrian’s pack, and… they’ll want to know what we think about him.” Violet bit her lip. “So… what should we say?” Sophie glanced at her but didn’t respond directly. Instead, she looked back at me. “They’re going to ask about any interactions you had with A

Tamara's POV In the quiet that followed, I felt my thoughts drifting to Dante. I missed him, missed his steady presence, his reassurance. Did he even know where I was right now? And if he did, when would he come to me? These were the thoughts running through my mind as my brain finally shut down and I nodded off to sleep on the wall of the cold cell. I jerked awake on the cold stone floor of the cell, my body stiff and aching. My friends lay curled up around me, their breathing shallow, but it was the loud voices beyond the cell door that pulled me out of sleep completely. "Dante!" Reuben’s voice echoed down the hall, laced with barely controlled anger. "Stop attacking my warriors and let them go!" My heart hammered in my chest. Dante was here. He’d come for me. I struggled to my feet, pressing myself against the heavy cell door, desperate to hear every word. "How dare you!" Dante’s voice was lethal, filled with barely restrained fury. "You had the audacity to arrest my fiancée

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Sweet home

Tamara’s POV By the time Dante and I made it back to the hotel, the sun had set, and the warm, romantic glow of the city lights greeted us. As we stepped into the suite, Violet was sprawled on the couch, flipping through a magazine. The moment she saw us, her eyes narrowed in amusement. “Well, well,” she drawled, sitting up and smirking. “Look who’s finally back from their innocent picnic. You guys were gone for hours.” I tried to keep a straight face, but the heat creeping up my neck betrayed me. I could still feel Dante’s hand on the small of my back as he guided me inside, his possessive touch sending tiny shivers down my spine. But Violet, being the sharp observer she was, didn’t miss the ruffled state of my hair or the slightly wrinkled clothes I was trying—and failing—to smooth out. “What exactly happened out there, Tamara?” she teased, her voice full of mock innocence. “Because it sure doesn’t look like you spent the day just eating sandwiches and enjoying the view.” Dant

Tamara’s POV For a long moment, I couldn’t speak. My throat tightened with unshed tears, and the depth of Dante’s guilt washed over me, mingling with the love he had carried for years. It was overwhelming—almost too much to bear. “Dante,” I finally whispered, my voice trembling as I reached for his hand. He flinched at first, like he thought I might pull away, but I held on tightly. “It’s not your fault,” I said, my voice firm despite the lump in my throat. “You can’t blame yourself for what happened. Jack is the one who manipulated and hurt me—not you. You tried to protect me.” His jaw tensed as he avoided my gaze. “I didn’t protect you. I failed you, Tamara. I—” “No,” I cut him off, shifting closer to him on the picnic mat. My fingers cupped his cheek, forcing him to look at me. His beautiful, stormy eyes were filled with anguish, but beneath it all, I saw love. “You didn’t fail me, Dante. The goddess gave me a second chance—us a second chance. That’s what matters now. Tamara's POV "All this may have been avoided if you let him take his position." i said but Dante sighed.“I considered it,” he admitted, his voice filled with regret. “I thought maybe it would ease the tension. But it didn’t take long to realize Jack didn’t want to lead for the good of the pack. He wanted power. Pure and simple. He didn't care about what the people wanted, all he wanted was to dominate and take revenge for the death of his family. he wasn’t fit to be Alpha, Tamara. I couldn’t let him take over. So, I refused.” I nodded slowly, understanding his reasoning even as my heart ached for the burden he’d carried. “And that’s when Jack turned on you.” Dante’s eyes darkened, his expression hard. “Yes. We used to be close, but wanting power changed him. He rallied people against me, spreading lies, manipulating anyone he could. He used every weak link in the pack against me. When that didn't work, he sent assassins to kill me, I dealt with them, one by one ocourse, but Jack

"i don't know that but I can swear on my mother that it could never have been me, I could never hurt you like that, not after what you mean to me. But my guess is that Jack must have been the one to do it, he probably killed them so that you would be pained enough to kill me.""And it worked.' I realized with tears in my eyes. It was a memory I’d buried deep, but now it resurfaced with a vengeance.“What happened?” Tamara asked softly, her voice trembling. The memory of that day came flooding back as if it had happened only yesterday. I could still feel the exhaustion in my body, the faint ache in my muscles after pushing myself far beyond my limits. I had been lying in my bed, a rare luxury after leading the watch for 72 hours straight. it wasn't by choice though The army doctor had all but dragged me off duty, insisting I rest. “You’re no good to us dead, Dante. You must take a fucking rest or ill declare you unfit for battle and you'll be discharged,” he’d said sternly, and though I hated leaving my men, I knew he was right. I’d barely made it to my cot before sleep pulled me under. But it wasn’t a peaceful sleep. I startled awake to the shrill ringing of alarm bells, a sound that snapped me out of my slumber

You said you were helping him, or something like that.”“it wasn't just plain paper work though,” I explained, “I wasn’t just some advisor, Tamara. I was his general.”Her eyebrows shot up, her lips parting in surprise. “General? But… weren’t you—”“Young?” I finished for her, a small, humorless smile tugging at my lips. “I was.
