Even though Jay tried to reach them as fast as he could, he was still the last to arrive—both Zoe and Cora had already gotten up off the ground.

Bob carried Cora away, while one of the female staff helped Zoe walk.

They had to get checked and get a vaccination shot for rabies.

Filming was probably going to be delayed, given the situation.

"Zoe," Jay called out as he rushed toward her, sweating buckets. "Were you hurt? Where?"

"Here." Zoe simply showed him her hand instead of hiding it—there were clear bite marks on her fair skin, cutting skin and drawing blood and leaving some bruising around it.

Jay's heart could get numb from the pain just then. "Does it hurt?"

"Yeah." Zoe nodded, appearing a little upset just then.

"I'm sorry," Jay apologized.

"It's not your fault."

"If I'd stayed with you…"

"It would break my heart if it bit you too," Zoe said bluntly.

Jay stared at Zoe, his eyes a little red as he quietly nodded.
