"I am your friend, Quickstep." Vera hesitantly replied towards the bald immortal's question when Quickstep focused his gaze unto her. She was hoping to avoid what her sister wife, Juliana, had went through. At first, she wanted to deny the friendship of this naked immortal before her but its result was unpredictable at best.
She was not a fool and so she opted to accept what fate has given her. Her eyes closed after she uttered her answer and waited for the likely assault from the bald immortal.
