"Thank you and goodnight, Madame Ais! Talk to you tomorrow, okay?" Maru said to the system when he could think of no more things to do. He finally let sleep take him away into the land of dreams after he saw that his world energy did not amount to a thousand. Hopefully tomorrow he could already buy the Armor Fabricator for Uwyn and his mother, was Maru's last thought.

"Affirmative, Maru." Madame Ais replied to its host. But her words were no longer heard by Maru. Only a child's snore resounded inside the modest hut.

"Shall we send a team to find them, chief?" a one eyed bandit who stood uneasily reported to a man who was seated on a big wooden throne. The chair was too big for his size but the man sat there as if he commanded the low lives under all of heaven."How long had they been gone, One Eye?" the man asked his subordinate. He never looked at him but continued to stare at the goblet he was holding. The dark robe he wore intensified the mysterious effect that he projected towards his lone audience."Almost three hours already, chief." One Eye Rodrek answered to his chief, Sakar. He was one of the few bandits who earned nicknames in their camp. Only the strange and the strong were granted the honor of having one. Thus, he was quite proud of his accomplishment. His name One Eye Ro

"What are those, master?" Chief Sakar asked towards the masked expert. He saw metallic braces same as what he noted on the silent companion of the boy. They were inside a magical sack that materialized with only a wave of a hand. This most probably came from a storage ring, he thought."As I said, it is a gift from the master. You may address me as Mistress Ais. Get one and put it on your neck, mortals." The masked boy replied to the enquiry of Chief Sakar."You heard Mistress Ais. Do it!" Chief Sakar shouted and a line formed to enact the command of their new superior. The fatal deterrence of the powerful assured a silent assent to the collection, both bandits and slaves. A total of 321 people."Yo

"Build a teleportation matrix at this position." Madame Ais instructed a newly purchased Builder Bot."Affirmative. Estimated time of completion 30 minutes." the Builder Bot replied in its mechanical voice. Madame Ais spoke no further and went out into the cold evening. Two familiar bandits stood guard outside the property. They neither made a sound or took even the slightest of movements. Both just looked alert and gazed unblinkingly into every direction. Like timeless sentinels on an immortal's castle. And when they saw Madame Ais step on air and receded from their vision, their countenance never changed. Even a bit of stimulus was not shown."How much world energy can this construct gather, Builder Bot 1?" Madame Ais asked when she arrived at an artificial underground

"Yeyyyyy! Wohhhooooo!" Uwyn yelled in an excited voice. She rode a mystical beast the resembled a horse with no wings but flew high above the clouds."Be careful, Uwyn! Don't move around that much!" Maru quickly chastised his sister. His magical beast took the form of a dragon but only reflected the size of Uwyn's summoned being. These amazing creatures were from the Automaton Factory that Madame Ais constructed five days earlier."Let's go down." Maru said after only 30 seconds of flying. They could have arrived earlier but his sister requested that they fly more as she enjoyed the feeling of touching the clouds freely."Welcome young master and young miss! "Okay, Uwyn. But let me just get these boxes first." Maru said and was planning on doing something but was cut off by Uwyn's voice."Let me! Let me! I'll do it, brother!" were the enthusiastic words of Uwyn. She touched a ring on one of her fingers and the boxes suddenly vanished from their static placements."An interspatial ring!" Mirthal gasped inaudibly as he witnessed the abrupt disappearance of the boxes. These two were definitely from the major sects or the ancient families in this continent. Either of those was not one to be offended. They were the top influences that held supreme power in these lands, the true rulers on this piece of earth. He stood even more respectful towards Maru and Uwyn.

"Do you remember that other magic I taught you, Uwyn?" Maru said as he tightened his embrace unto Uwyn when she was about to turn her head to take a look at the commotion behind her."You mean that forbidden magic, brother? Yes, yes. I remember. But you said to only use it if my life was in danger. Are there bad people right now?" Uwyn asked her brother as her eyes grew bigger in alarm. She looked to her left and right as she tried to find the location of the bad guys."They're going to be here soon, Uwyn. I want you to use your magic and go to mom, okay? I won't be there to protect her so you should take my place. Don't let the bad people hurt mom." Maru instructed his sister."You can count on me,

Massive explosions raged all over the place that seemed to rock the foundation of the world. Unsuspecting people were caught out in the conflagrations of magic which did not show any signs of abating. Their remains will never be seen again as even their ashes were purged out of existence. The citizens of the nearby city felt the vibrations of the ground and fear crept into their hearts as the peculiar phenomena could be gazed from afar. The distant sky was thrown into a chaotic mix of colors. Calming lights strewn across the cindering flames of fury and on its embrace were the howling swirls of winds in combination with the muddy particles of rocks."SLOOSH!" beams of light were mercilessly flying in all directions. When the barrage neared the city, smoke arose in the dilapidated land masses in reaction to the destruction it caused. The flatnes

"Master, an urgent message has come from the City of Antavale." A body formed of hazy shadows lent a jade slip to a person who was sitting on a lotus position under a colossal olden tree. The person opened his eyes and the world suddenly turned quiet. The wind stopped its gales and the weaving leaves calmed. This person was a white robed youth who seemed to not be over the age of 20 at first glance. But when one looks into his eyes, they could see the vicissitudes of time revolving around that pair of enigmatic globes. The white robed youth looked unto the jade slip on his hands and seeped his spiritual consciousness unto the object. When he was done, an obvious frown marred his handsome face."Send Lukas to the City of Antavale." The white robed youth instructed the lone

Maru was more than happy to take a break from everything—even from the responsibilities that came with his many wives and his realm-shaking reputation. Escaping into the mortal world for a time was like a breath of fresh air, a rare chance to experience life without the burdens of status and power. As he adjusted to this new identity, Maru sifted through the memories of the young man whose life he now occupied. The memories painted a bleak picture: this young Maru was impoverished, scraping by from a family with little to their name. For someone accustomed to wealth, influence, and resources beyond mortal comprehension, this was, to put it mildly, inconvenient."I’ll have to change that," Maru muttered to himself, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He strolled down to the nearest gas station, where he purchased a lottery ticket with casual confidence. With a bit of energy concealed within a playful flick of his finger, he ensured that fate would work in his favor. A week la

Universes rose and fell on his whims, stars burned bright and were extinguished with a mere thought, and entire civilizations either flourished or crumbled at his command.Maru's power was absolute, his authority unmatched, and yet, after countless eons of this existence, he found himself feeling something he had not anticipated—boredom. He had seen it all, lived through it all. In a mystical world within the body of an immortal, a great ruckus was happening. “Master! It has appeared once again!” A good disciple knelt on the floor. He prostrated before his teacher which had given him his everything in short. This very man had saved him in the past and until this day, he has not forgotten his pledge of allegiance and service to this person. The disciple was content in doing so. He had no ambitions for himself, only to the happiness of his benefactor. To call him a slave was much more fitting than a disciple in this day and age. “Gather all your brothers and sisters. We shall go at once.” An aged man answered with a serious face on him. He was old and full of wrinkles. His age almost to the limit of what could be achieved with his cultivation base. Nevertheless, the majesty of his stance was a perfect picture of what a true powerhouse truly was. This man had been alive on this world for more than one thousand years already. It was both an accomplishment i

“Speak.” An old dying voice replied. His body seemed ancient alongside the timeless aspect of his voice. Perhaps the only consolation that could be found on him today was the quality of his cultivators robes. At first glance alone, anybody that has eyes could easily determine that it was not made of poor materials at all. This old man was of course the master of Dragon Conqueror Pavilion. “There was a group of people looking a specific cultivation manual earlier, master. They wanted Soul Birth Realm training scrolls.” Kong Jin reported. She knew that the implications of her words would not be lost on his smart master. And indeed it was not. “DING!” The old man opened his eyes and one could notice the blazing fire in them. The atmosphere in the room immediately surged up and this has made the beautiful Kong Jin tremble in place. But reaction was not out of fear but surprisingly because of her extreme excitement. He then looked at Ye Jia and nodded at his old man.The latter was a lot more confident and composed than Ye Hanya and it could be seen from this act alone on how Ye Jia became the Patriarch of Ye after all these years. His strong character was only the least of his myriad qualities. “Let’s go, Yin Lan.” Maru called and before long, a beautiful woman p

Maru arrived at the Ye domains. At once glance, he could see that there were more people inside it than when he left. It was obvious that there were more homeless and poor citizens of Whitecrest who chose to seek refuge in the clan. His parents Ye Jia and Ye Hanya knew of their son’s heart and thus gladly accepted to feed and give shelter to these people. From the initial 1,000 hapless souls, the count had already five fold at this time. Fortunately for all, the expense of having these families was too insignificant for the rich Ye family. But if these 5,000 men, women, and children were to be cultivated then that was a whole nother matter entirely. Resources like spirit stones were extremely limited even for a big clan like the Ye. “It’s been two long years, huh?” Maru smiled and began walking in slow steps towards the large
