Selyna’s POV

We have Kirsty bring the messenger to the Alpha’s Office where we all meet him. He’s tall with ethereal features…clearly elven or fae of some sort, with long white hair. “I come to you with a message from my king. He would like you to know that while he escaped by slipping into another realm through a portal he opened that he was attacked. The attackers were mostly humans and rogue wolves, though they do seem to have a witch on their side.” He bowed and nodded to me. “If I am not too presumptuous and the rumors are true, it is you, my lady, who most needs to know as queen of  witches and  Royal Alpha heir.”

I giggle a little. “I am still not officially queen and certainly not used to the titles, but you are not too

The last few nights since breaking the curse we have bathed together using the bundles of herbs and the uncrossing soap. Of course we have our fun in the tub while getting clean. Today is going to be a long day. We are packing and preparing for the mission. Her beautiful eyes meet mine as lay luggage out for the two of us. It’s December so it is cold up here, but it is still warm in Florida which is where we are driving down to, so we will need to pack accordingly with clothes for varying climates. I see her smile at me, sweetly. “What are you thinning, my sexy demon? You look so serious!” She questions with an impish smirk. She sidles up to me then grabs my waist, her slim fingers gently tr

  • A Hope for Moonlight   Chapter 56: The Journey Begins

Selyna’s POV I was sure to pack our bags with a variety of clothing to suit the varying climates, as shifters the difference wouldn’t be as pronounced as it is for the witches, but we would still need jackets and long pants up north and things more suitable to the hot weather when we go south, plus comfort would be a factor in choices and being sure we had some clothes in case we had to shift without changing out of our clothes. I just finished zipping the suitcases when Damian came up behind me with a tray full of food. “Come on, my queen! Let’s have some lunch before we have to gather everyone together to go over the plan and make sure they are all prepared.” He smiled at me and gestured to our sitting area. Thinking back on t

  • A Hope for Moonlight   Chapter 57: Sunny Florida

Selyna’s POV Twice more during our trip I felt that surge, but that van had not followed us. It was a strange feeling, like something was trying to both feed my power and simultaneously use my energy. Damian and the others didn’t let me drive for the rest of the trip. We are close to northern Florida right now, driving through Alabama, but I need to stretch my legs and use the facilities so we stop at a rest stop. Riff is outside the door to the lady’s room when Rayanne and I are finishing freshening up and I hear a low growl. Spinning around I see an unfamiliar she wolf. I know she is a rogue wolf shifter because I can smell her. “We don’t take kindly to her kind around these parts!” She inclines her head towards my aunt as she drawls with her southern accent. “What are wolves and witches doing traveling together?” &nb

I shift and jump in taking out two of the three closest to Earl’s tail. I feel a bolt of lightning pass me hitting a wolf in the chest in midair just as he was leaping at me and see Storm’s fingers crackling with electricity. • A Hope for Moonlight   Chapter 60: Dinner with an Eccentric Alpha (part 1)

Damian’s POV The hotel room is beyond luxurious and Alpha Franco left Selyna and I clothing and champagne with a note to meet him and his mates downstairs in the lobby at 7PM. He said that if the clothing doesn’t fit, to call him with a cellphone number which is different from his contact number that we have. I am thinking maybe it is his personal line, rather than the contact through the packhouse. The man has expensive taste. I shower in the extravagant shower with the rainfall and massaging jets. The citrus and spice scented body wash feels like silk on my skin, and the Versace shirt he left with the skin tight jeans (also Versace) is of a purple and teal silk. That is far more color than I am used to wearing in one shirt, but I do not want to offend this Alpha, he has a reputation for elaborate parties and unprecedented entertaining, yet rarely lets anyone truly close. There are rumors about his family having ties to the Old Florida Mafia, but none that have been confirmed.

Selyna’s POV Luna Luz is a blast! She and I took our baby bumps to the dance floor as soon as we got to the club, letting the guys talk. Yes, I know that technically I am the Alpha, but tonight is not about business. We are up for fun tonight, before getting serious about what we are up against and finalizing rescue plans over the next couple of days, so tonight we are getting to know our allies. “Tell me, Alpha Selyna…are you Cuban, even in part? You almost look like you could be my little sister!” Luz giggles as she sways her hips in time to the music perfectly. I laugh, “I hardly look anywhere near as exotic as you! My mother’s family is mostly English, but may have ties to several European countries and my Father’s side is Greek!” The exotic beauty in front of me blushes a bit, but seems surprised by my answer. “Of course, I had heard this! You just look similar to myself and move so naturally to the Salsa music and I forgot that I already knew of your family

Despite all that is happening I do intend to continue writing, but I have not been feeling the werewolf genre lately. I will continue with sporadic updates as inspiration strikes, but will also be working on developing some ideas that are dancing around in my head into stories. • A Hope for Moonlight   Hard Decision: Author's Note

I have decided after long thought not to continue this story as it is currently written...I want to restructure and plan it better. A Hope For Moonlight has a lot of potential, but my writing style and organizational skills have changed much over the years since I started it. With that said, I intend to go over the manuscript and create a more detailed outline that will combine the story as I had originally wanted it to be but will be more focused and better organised, it will better detail the prophecies and continue into the next generation so that we may see the fullfillment of the prophecies. I do not know when I will get around to this as I have a lot on my plate, but it is something I will be starting to look at as soon as I have a few works in progress completed, or near completion. I have many ideas that I would like to better flesh out so that the work flows better and goes off the rails less.Thank you.
