The corners of Sabrina's lips were downturned as she frowned. "Grandpa, I—"

"Alright, that's enough!" Horace interrupted her before scoffing. "I'll call that ungrateful brat myself! I don't believe she'd dare to ignore my calls!"

It was like he had amnesia and had forgotten how he'd kicked Lucille out.

Meanwhile, Sabrina was overjoyed with Horace's behavior. She believed Lucille was on the path toward death, so she didn't mind making things more difficult for Lucille.

As for Lucille, she'd just finished work and was taking a quick break. That was when her phone buzzed. She looked at her messaging app and saw a few texts from a contact named Moira Norris.

They read, "Hello, my dear Ten! I've asked Marley to send you some of the latest chocolates in the market. Kisses!"

"They've arrived at your house, so remember to collect them! Don't forget, okay?"

"Oh! And happy Thanksgiving in advance! I'll likely be busy tomorrow, so I might not have time to send my wishes. Hehe, love you
