Jasper was utterly deserving of being called a madman.

Lucille wanted nothing more than to crack open his skull and feed him to the wolves right then and there.

A glint of cold light flashed in Lucille's eyes, and she shot him a harsh glare. "If you hurt him, I'll make you feel it ten times over, Jasper!"
