"Mom, I'm not stupid. I know how much I give you every month. Over the past two years, you must've received at least two to three million."

"Nanette, I feel like I've raised a thankless child. Are you saying that I can't spend a single penny?"

Seeing the way Helena looked at her, as if she wanted to eat her alive, Nanette patiently replied, "I'm not saying you can't spend it, but that money is for Dad's medical expenses."

"Sterling is so wealthy that your dad's medical expenses wouldn't even cover the cost of a shirt for him. Which woman wouldn't be secretly delighted to marry such a man? And yet, you're the one making a fuss about divorce.

"Aside from your looks, what do you really have? Just go back and sweet-talk him. A little generosity from him could take care of you for a lifetime."
