He tried to speak but the words became stuck in his throat and he could see her eyes welling up with tears.

He didn't know what to do or say at the moment and he felt guilty for bringing up the topic about her mother.

"Nat..we..we..can stop talking about this if you want to," he said with concern.

"She was the beginning of my problems. She was an avid cheater despite the fact that my dad was a loving husband to her. Adrian had a twin brother whom we lost due to my mom's negligence," she related.
