Chapter 81.

The drive back to our vacation house was a tranquil journey, the soothing sound of the birds and the gentle hum of the car's engine filling the air.

The house awaits us like an old friend, and as we approach, it feels like a warm embrace from a familiar place.

We get into the car and everybody stretch’s

“What an eventful and tiresome day we had” I say, yawning and it is evident that I’m tired.

“I can’t lie. It was” Kendra agrees with me.

We all enter into the house and we are exhausted

“I will make all of us a meal. Just because” Jim says, taking everyone by surprise

“Bro, don’t go ahead to poison all of us” Joel says laughing

“Oh it’s a dare” Jim giggles.

He walks into the kitchen and takes it upon himself to prepare a meal.

We separate into our rooms and I decide to take a shower.

Washing the stress of the day off my skin.

When I’m done, I leave the room to see that Kendra and Joel were already seated in the living room.

I must have taken quite a lot of time. I think to myself.
