Jim's POV.

“I promised to kill all the memories. But does killing the memories also entail not talking about it with my girl?” I contemplate my thoughts.

“Anastasia I want to tell you something” I tell her and the expression on her face says that she’s been waiting for me to tell her something

But a call rudely interrupts my confession.

I look at my phone and it reads “Mr. Michael”

I try to hide the name from Anastasia, but I think she already saw it.

I don’t want her to suspect anything.

I decide to ignore the call

“That’s my contractor” I lie

“Oh, what are you building?”

I knew telling her that was going to prompt questions, but it’s better than telling her the truth.

“Nothing serious” I blurt out when nothing else seemed to work.

“Well then that’s fine, I guess. You were about to say something”.

“Don’t worry about it.”

“Let’s head back, I want to grab some groceries and head home”

“Okay princess” I tell her, and we get into the car.
